Chapter 2

Annas pov

Dave approaches the couch and puts me down.

"Who was that Anna?" Dave asks me sending a me a worried glance.

I looked to ground a blush stuck in my cheeks. Dave sighs and puts one hand under my  chin and gives me kiss on my temple murmuring

"Tell me please."

I sigh and launch into my life story.

"Aiden and I were best of friends when we were little and we ended up going to the same school and high school. I was never really good friends with girls because of the drama that kept going on between them. But there was a day Aiden walked me to my class and some girl called me a slut for always hanging out with the boys. I still remember all their names" I say tears bluring my vision as I say the boys names aloud.

"Tom, Beck, Julian, Sam, Charlie, Raphael and Aiden. We were all like a family and the boys treated me like a little sister, they were also very protective and they would never let me go to parties unless one or two of them were with me" I say laughing at the memory.

I lose my smile as I remembered what happened next. I continue as tears now flow freely  down my cheeks.

"
I remember going home and mum and dad told me that werewolves were on the way and that we had to pack up to leave. I left early the next day to visit all of them saying I would be back in a short while. I had never seen the boys look so glum. I left the next the day and well you know ... what happened the next day" I say grimacing.

I look at Dave and he just had a look of sadness on his face.

"Why did you save me?
  Why didn't you save my parents?
   Why did you have to turn me into this?"  I ask pointing to myself.

"Look Anna, your parents knew what I am and they trusted me with you. I have never questioned their loyalty and they didnt either.  However your parents made me ... begged me bwfore you were born that should anything happen to them I would turn you and raise you into one of my own.
Look I dont know about you but when your parents told me this, I was happy, thrilled that they trusted me with you. Never have I ever felt so proud to have to as a daughter."
His words left me crying and blubbering like an idiot.

I move over to where Dave is and I hug him wolith all my might.

"Thank you, for not giving me a life but for loving and nurturing me" I say against his neck.

I can tell hes about to reply when Fane, Daves beta used the pack link to send us a thought.

Alpha, you're attention is needed we have captured a rogue and are waiting for you at the pack house.

Ill be right there, Fane.

Dave looks at me and says

"Lets go, we've found ourself a rogue."

"Yes Alpha"

I reply walking out the door.
