CHAPTER 14: Her Knight with a Dinosaur Cap

Quake's POV

[THE NEXT DAY]

"Okay class, our field test for today is kinda tricky." Master Zenzo informed.

"What is it Master?!"

"It is called the Trip Bottle Challenge. Unlike the human game of Flip Bottle, you guys should only make the bottle trip. Is that clear?"

"Oh that is just so easy Master." Kuro, a classmate of mine said.

"Oh is that so? Well then follow me to the Grand Fort." Master said and we all followed him in silence. This is my first time going inside the Grand Fort. Aliens say that the place was made for unleashing you true potential.

"What in the heavens name is that?" I asked out for the blue. What is Master thinking?!

"This is the bottle you have to trip. So tell me is it that easy?" He mockingly said. He's expecting us to trip a bottle with 2,347 ft. in height and 453 m. in diameter?! Is he insane?!

"You have to trip this bottle with a single blow not making a crack on the spot where you punch it. Who ever does this will have a major prize." He stated and everyone tensed.

"I'll choose who'll go first." He started walking in front of us smiling like a mad man. He is really scary. He went pass me and I felt so relieved.

"I choose you." WHAT THE HELL!!!! I looked at my right for he was pointing at it and saw....................... Metal?!

She walk to the bottle and observed it at first. Her beautiful metallic eyes scanned the bottle carefully.

"She'll trip that bottle in like 10 seconds. What do you think?"

"I bet on 5 seconds. What do you expect from a Scarlet, right?" Two guys near me stated that made me sweat dropped. Is she really that strong.

"Master, this is made out of pure plutonium sand and crystal iron. Hard yet very fragile, you have to find the right spot to hit that won't create a crack or you'll end up breaking it to half. I'm I wrong, Master?" Metal said tapping the bottle carefully.

"Very good. For that you'll get an exception paper for your next field test. Now trip the bottle." Wow! She's so good!

Metal closed her eyes and looked like concentrating  to where she'll punch the bottle and when she opened her eyes, you'll see determination in them. She jumped so high until she reached the middle part of the bottle.

"Iron Punch." Her right fist was glowing silver light and when she punch it....

*BBBBBAAAAAANNNNNGGGGG*

"AS EXPECTED FROM A SCARLET."

"ALWAYS BEING THE FIRST. GOD I HATE HER."

"LOOK WHO ACTS LIKE A GODDESS. SHE THINKS SHE'S THE MOST POWERFUL OF ALL."

"F*CK! I DESPISE HER!!!"

Wait, why are they talking like that to Metal?! Jezz, she just tripped the bottle and they are talking like that about her!!! If I can't hold my temper, I'll strangle them to death!!!😠 She's my friend and no one is allowed to say that about her if they don't know her that fully.

Metal descended swiftly and looked at the ground. I  think she heard what they were talking no scratch it she really heard them. She ran towards the exit and when I looked at where she was standing recently, there were droplets of water on them.

I ran towards the door but before I exited the room. "HEY YOU CHICKENS!!!! FIND YOUR INSECURITY FOR ONCE!!!!!" I yelled, completely losing my temper and ran after Metal.

I ran everywhere, the classroom, the library, heck even the girls' restroom just looking for Metal. I felt exhausted when I was already at the hallway. My hands on my knees supporting me from crashing. When I was about to walk away, I heard sobs. Out of curiosity I followed the sobs. I ended up in front a room made out of glass so you can see the insides.

I entered the room and was so amazed. It was a hanging garden inspired by the Babylonian hanging garden. It's so pleasing in the eyes and breath taking. There was a miniature falls and I went near it and the sobs gets more louder until I saw a silhouette of a person. When I looked at it I realize it was Metal.

"Metal!" I ran to her and she looked at me questioningly.

"Q-Quake? What are you doing here?" She was seating by the grasses and her knees were near her chest. I sat next to her and I could clearly see her redden eyes cause by crying.

"I'm here because your here."

"Spill it Quake, why are you here?" She said, head laying on her knees.

"Cause you're crying, stupid. I should be here for I'm your friend. I don't like seeing you cry." I replied. She looked at me surprised.

"W-what?" I smiled to her and wiped her tears.

"Come on stop crying. I'm here for you. I can be your Knight minus the shining armor with a dinosaur cap." I joke and she finally smiled.

"Why are you her anyway?" I questioned hoping to  divert her thought.

"This place was created by my mommy. She loves this place that's why when I'm sad I always go here." Then she started crying again. Dang it I have to do something.

I pulled her in a hug, the only thing that I think that will lessen her sadness. I cherish her hair carefully like a mother.

"Stop crying, okay. I'm here, always here for you. I'll never leave your side." I comforted her and she cried on my chest.

'I don't wanna see you cry. So please be my sunshine.' I thought as I continued comforting her.

I'll always be here for you cause I'm your KNIGHT  WITH A DINOSAUR CAP.
