CHAPTER 18: Meet the Father

Boboiboy's POV

"Yey!!! Finally we can spend a day together my best friend!!!!!" Gopal beamed with joy.

"Yeah! Finally we can have a break!" Ying cheered.

"Guys! Let's go to the mall!" Yaya said while clapping her hands.

It's been awhile since I last talked to them for even if we do study in one place, we don't have the same schedules and we don't have lots of time to chat with. For the past 2 months that I've stayed here, I spend it most on training my powers. I'm not that forgetful now when I split thanks to Master Zenzo. Yurin on the other hand, we're kinda awkward when we are not split but if we are then only Quake and Metal are friends. A part of me wanna change this but a part of me also wanna keep this kind of relationship with her.

"So let's split! I want to bond with my girlfriends!!!!" Ying suggested while holding both Yaya and Lia's arms.

"Okay I'm fine with that. Yurin you okay if you go with them?" Fang asked.

"Um... I think so?"

"Come on Yurin!!! We'll have so much fun!!!" Ying and Yaya dragged her to who knows where and Lia followed them so only Fang, Gopal and me were left. Ochobot and Mekabot are in Lionheart doing something.

"So what shall we do?" I asked.

"Let's test how much we've got stronger." Fang suggested.

"Come on Fang!!!! I wanna have some fun!!!! We only got a day to rest you know!!!!!" Gopal interjected.

"Excuse me, are you Boboiboy?" I turned around and saw a girl wearing a suit.

"Yes?"

"My Lord wants to see you right now. Please do follow me in silence." She said and started walking away from me.

"Boboiboy you should go." Fang said and I nodded.

"What?!?!! But I wanna spend the whole day with you Boboiboy!!!!!!!!!" Gopal whined.

"It's OK Gopal. I'll come back as soon as I can."

"Let's meet at the town clock then." Fang said and I nodded. I followed the girl and to my surprise, we're going through a drainage system.

"Don't panic I'm not gonna do anything to you." The girl said and we kept walking. This place really stinks. I saw a light up ahead thinking that it's the exit.

Once we're out, the surroundings around us was so pleasing. It's like we're in a tropical paradise. There was a waterfalls with sparking water flowing in it. Flying light balls with different colors that you'll really appreciate, beautiful plants and flowers and a cottage with two chairs, a table and a feast of foods. We finally made it on the cottage when the girl excused herself.

"My Lord will be with you in a sec. Help yourself if you want." She said and bowed to me. I sat on the chair and waited. After 15 minutes and still no one have arrived. I was about to leave when I heard something.

"HELP ME BOBOIBOY!!!!!" I turned to the waterfalls and saw Yurin drowning.

"YURIN!!!!" I cried and ran to her and change to Ice. "Don't worry!!! I'm coming!!!!"

"Please hurry Boboiboy!!!!!!!! I'm sinking!!!!" I stopped and looked at her in disbelief.

"Who are you?"

"What?!" The person who was drowning questioned.

"You're not Yurin. Yurin would rather drown that let her be save when I'm Ice." I honestly said. One time Yurin got caught on a fire during our field class and I tried to save her with Ice's power but do you wanna know what she said...

"I RATHER BE A ROASTED CHICKEN THAN BE SAVED BY YOU ICE!!!!!! GET AWAY FROM ME!!!!!!!!"

She's so independent, right?😒

"IT'S ME BOBOIBOY!!!!!!!!! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!" She cried. I went near her and bend. I took the leaf on her head and I was right, she's not Yurin. She was just an illusion made out of those light balls and when I took the leaf the light balls scrambled.

"Good job. You passed." I immediately turn my sight to be shock.

"L-Lord Zenith."

"So you're the boy that Zenzo's been talking about. He said that you're really strong and .... frequently seen with my daughter." He started.

"I have a mission for you." He signed for me to go near him as he went to the cottage.

"Those fairy orbs can shape shift to anyone I want. I tried on deceiving you that Yurin was drowning but how did you knew that it wasn't her."

"Yurin hates my elementals especially if I split except for Earthquake that is." I stated.

"One time I tried saving her with Ice and she glared at me. She said that she rather roast than accept help from me." He laughed so hard when I said that making me uneasy.

"She's really my daughter. Never asking help from someone they truly trust." He said and ruffled my cap.

"Please help my daughter." He pleaded or rather commanded.

"W-what?"

"She may have full control over her elemental powers but those are not her really abilities." He replied in a really serious tone.

"I locked her true powers and only she can unlock them but she needs help." He smiled at me and patted my head.

"So can you help her for me?"

"But sir, I don't know how. And besides why me, sir. Fang know a lot about Yurin maybe he can-"

"Because you know more about her than Fang." Lord Zenith said and looked me in the eye.

"I've been secretly watching over her and I've never seen her act like that towards someone."

"When she's with Fang she can control herself from doing something reckless but with you..." His eyes soften as he heartily chuckled.

"You made my baby show her real playful and childish side.... unlike the Yurin who is filled with self-control and composure Lionheart Academy knew of."

"Please get rid of the fear that is blocking her powers Boboiboy. Don't think that this is a command but a help towards a friend, please." He said and sincerity was seen in his eyes.

"So what do you say?" He asked lending his hands to me.

"I accept the mission." We shook hands and smiled to each other. Even if Quake is my only connection towards her, she's till my friend so I'll help her.
