I pulled in front of the Music&Me shop door. That's where I was going to get my guitar classes. They teach only guitar and that was unique about them. The team made up of several veteran guitarists from around the world.
" Three days a week, on alternative days starting from Tuesday " the receptionist explained the details on my admission card after i made the payment.
" Okay, when do my classes start? "
" Today is Wednesday, you can start the classes from tomorrow " she glided her fingers over her hair.
" Stick with the schedule " she said softly.
" Okay thanks " i moved out.
As i drove through the Grand street, my phone rang flashing 'your pony girl.'
Catching the first jump of my heart beat i pressed the green button.
" Would you mind pulling over the John's cake shop? Grand Street " her tone unpretentious.
" I don't mind at all, no hi or hellos? Huh? Always keen on your need "
" Why waste time on boring hi and hellos? "
" May be correct. Okay bless your luck, I'm on the same road"
" I know, i saw your car crossing past me and that's why i called you "
I sighed nodding my head happily.
" Well. I'll be there in a minute. Thank me later "
-Click- the call went off.
Breathing in, I took an U and drove back through the street on other side.
In front of the John's door, she sat fumbling her fingers on the engine of her bike.
One hand on the accelerator other on her thig as she listened to the ricochets of the engine on a sit-up.
She got up as i opened my door, turning off her bike she walked to me.
" The piston rings are gone, i cannot make it to airport with this " she said wryly.
" Oh really, how do you know?"
" I could tell from the sound my engine makes " she cornered her eyebrows.
" Not at all, the piston rings don't pose a big threat, with the broken one you can travel up to two hundred kilometres. I know some mechanics too " i gave a proud smile.
" One can even go thousand kilometres with broken rings, I'm talking about the performance, i don't want to give my baby a throat choke"
"And you stink at mechanics" she giggled.
" No. What i meant was....."
She closed my mouth with her palm.
" I'm not ready for your bike dynamics lecture, i know some practical mechanics, that's it "
"No give me your keys, I'll check" i said pulling off her hand from my mouth.
" That's totally fine, now just listen. Sorry for calling you, i never depend on other people except on exceptional occasions like this.Even Mark and Jane are not available, i reached out for them at first place."
She continued resting hands on her waist.
"I didn't think of calling you untill i saw you passing through this street."
" So you called me since your beloved friends are not available for now?"
" Absolutely" she acclaimed winking her eyes.
