*KATIE'S P.O.V.*
"Yes mom, I'll be fine. No, Jacob and Emily will be fine too. Yes, Riker gets back today. No, I'm not worried. Mom, I'll be fine." I argued. Riker was on a trip and my mom was worried that I'd gone and killed myself or set the house on fire.
"Jacob, Emily, come down!" I hollered. They both ran down the stairs. They'd missed their father immensely. I looked down at my ring and smiled. All of us were married now. Although, Riker and I were the first to have kids, the others caught up soon enough.
I heard the door unlock and smiled. The minute I saw his blonde hair and his blue jacket, I raced towards him and he lifted me off of the ground, spinning me in circles. I kissed him when he set me down and I took him in. He looked brilliant. Everything was great. I had the life, and the man, that I'd always wanted. I wouldn't change it for the world.
