Male Samurott

I sat at the edge of the beach watching everyone splash about in the water. Samurott nudged me from behind his horn brushing against my arm. "Yeah, yeah... I know." I waved him off and continued to stare off to sea. My friend took a seat next to me and watched the waves with me. They dragged shells to the surface and whetted the tan sand. Samurott began to tug at my sleeve, notifying me that we should head back home. Reluctantly I got up and strolled along side Samurott. I heaved a sigh as the nights cool breeze came in. "It's pretty isn't it?" I asked Samurott earning a grunt in return. I pulled a few strands of my hair behind my ear as stars slowly began to appear one by one. The woods were silent as we hiked to our cabin in this thick forest. Yawning I opened the door and closed it after Samurott strolled past. Stretching, I made my way to my bedroom. "Man, I'm beat." I mumbled out and crawled into bed. "Good night Samurott..." I said to him and snuggled under the covers, my friend pulled the blanket up to my shoulders and laid down beside me.

Time Skip~

I felt something warm rub up against my cheek, it pulled back strands of my hair. "(Y/N)," a voice cooed "It's time to wake up." The voice said softly.

"Nooo." I groaned and flung my arm across the bed. "Need more sleep..." I mumbled.

"(Y/N), come on. We need to get ready for the day. You have training to do." So it happened to Samurott to, the virus that has been spreading around. Well not really virus, more like something you just catch and can never shake it off, if that makes any sense. My eyes fluttered open and I was met with a soft expression.

"Mornin." I purred still half asleep. Samurott chuckled and left my bedroom. I got ready for training today, and grabbed my gear. 

Time skip~

It's been about an hour and I'm begging to get fatigued from all of this sword play.  "We'll stop here for today." Samurott informed me and I nodded to him in relief. Plopping down on the wooden floor I took out my ponytail and my robe, so I was now just in my (F/C) tank top and jean shorts.

"Man!" I called out into the humid air, "I'm beat." And flopped onto my back and Samurott took a seat next to me.

"Why, don't we head to the beach?"

I hesitated before responding, "Sure." We got stuff ready to head over there, I put on a bikini and felt a little embarrassed wearing it. Then covered it up with a T shirt, after I took one last glance at myself in the mirror I headed out the door. "Alright! Let's go!" I pumped my fist in the air as I began to add a skip to my step. As long as I stayed on the shore I was going to have fun. Once my feat touched the warm sand it felt so hot between my toes. "Haha! Yes!" I began to kick up sand with Samurott beside me.

"Why don't we go into the water?" He asked me. I flinched and he noticed quickly that I was a little nervous. "O-Only to the shallow end of course..." He seemed a little flustered and I just nodded. We walked over to the water and I sat in it Samurott a little ways into the deeper end of the lake. The murky depths of this place frightened me like any other body of water. I watched with a small smile on my face, all of the children running around and enjoying the place. Pokemon splashed in the water staying nice and cool. my feet moved from side to side as I stared off into space.

"(Y/N)." I shook my head side to side as well as if listening to a tune. "(Y/N)." My feet and head now went side to side in sync, "(Y/N)!" I snapped out of my daze and looked up to see Samurott staring down at me.

"S-Sorry..." I mumbled scratching the back of my head sheepishly.

"H-Here," Samurott sat down beside me and handed me a beautiful shell he found, "A-A gift..." I took it gratefully and began to caress the shell and trace around the whole in it.

"Aww, thank you." I smiled, "It's so elegant." I told him and heard him chuckle nervously.

"Y-Yeah, I-I thought you might like it..." He told me.

"I love it more than anything." I informed him. There was a long period of silence as the waves crashed against the shore, then a bloody scream came out of now where. Two girls seemed to be getting assaulted by two other men who appeared drunk. I immediately got up and rushed to there aid. They stood on top of the cliff pretty far from where I stood, but my legs kicked in. Samurott close at my heels we sprinted to the top. I stood behind the two of them and some how left Samurott behind. "Let them go!" I shouted to the two males.

They turned and began to snicker at me, "Oh yeah? And what can a girly like you do?" He held both of the girls and the other began to close in on me. Quickly I swept my foot under neath him, causing him to float in the air for a moment. I took that moment to kick him towards the end of the cliff.

"That's what I can do." I growled to the man holding the two girls. He let the two girls go and pushed them towards the other man, the women seemed frightened out of their wits. He charged at me and some how got a hold of my arm, Samurott just reached the top and saw me.

"Let her go!" He commanded, sounding more furious than I've ever heard. He began to walk towards the edge of the cliff and before Samurott could get to me, I was shoved off the cliff. "(Y/N)!" Samurott called out quickly beating the two men to a pulp, and jumped for me. I hugged myself as I was sent to the deep waters below. Samurott was able to get a hold of me as we dove into the blue depths. I squeezed a hold of him and he brought me back up to the surface. I was shivering and clung to him, frightened to death. My eyes were shut as he swam us back to shore. Once he was able to touch the sand he just walked back to the shore. The beach was completely deserted as the sun set behind us. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a worried expression written on Samurott's face.

"I'm sorry..." I mumbled to him as I shook.

"There's no need to be sorry." He told me, setting me down on the sand. He pulled back strands of my hair and kissed my forehead, "I should be the one apologizing." Once he said that he wrapped me in a towel and hugged me. Slowly I stopped shivering and my heart beat went back to its normal pace. Breaking down into tears I cried into his chest as he stroked my wet hair.

"I'm so happy you weren't hurt."
