I panted heavily as I rested on my back. I ran from them as fast as my legs could carry me. I finally ended up losing them through the forest, smirking slightly. I wiped away the sweat that dripped down my forehead. Finally regaining my breath I took in my surroundings. I was close to the Ruins of conflict which is where I heard the guardian of deity lives. I was hesitant but decided to head there, looking for a little shelter. I began to hurry as I noticed the skies turning grey. I made it to the entry way in the nick of time. Resting against the wall close to the mouth of the cave I heard thunder in the distance. Rain began to pour down and I decided to wait... no harm in that... right? I didn't pay much attention as to what was behind me at all. I smudged blood against my knees from my cut. As the rain continued to drench the island I rubbed my hand against the stone. Lighting struck down from the clouds above causing me to smile. I hummed a tune to myself, timing it with the patter of the rain. Blurry figures ran towards the cave and I immediately looked for a place to hide, but was a little to slow... the bullies came in. I panicked and backed as far away from them as physically possible, they snickered and walked towards me. Their soaked shoes squeaking as they hit the floor, not very menacing but still. The gang leader stood only a few inches from me, towering over my quivering figure. He gripped my hair in his filthy hands and lifted me off the ground, causing me to squeal in pain. They all continued to snicker as tears brimmed my eyes, oh how I wish glares could kill... I took the risk and kneed him in the chin, causing him to stumble back and fall, his mouth bleeding. I snarled a little as they all approached me. I did my best to fight back, I bit one causing them to bleed. It wasn't very useful, they kicked me on the ground and called me disgusting names. "Let her go!" a flash of black zoomed past me and stood before me. It was difficult to tell who or what it was. My vision was a little blurry and I coughed up a little blood, weak and helpless. I saw the gang of bullies scamper away with their tails between their legs. I smirked a little but my face went back to normal, I was so happy but to weak to show it. The hero who saved me rested my back against the rocky wall and lifted my head so I could see his face. "Are you alright?" He asked I nodded,

"Y-Yeah..." I confirmed in a raspy voice. He dabbed the corner of my mouth with a cloth, wiping the blood away. After a moment of silence the man spoke,

"That was pretty brave of you." He commented before continuing, "Mind if I ask your name?"

"(Y/N). You?" I began to regain my strength and shifted my position.

"I'm Tapu Koko." I was a little startled by this but wasn't to surprised. I noticed a slight change in his tone of voice but paid no mind to it.

"I see..." Tapu Koko kept attending to my wounds "Thank you, for saving me..." I mumbled and he gave me a small smile, I could see the worry in his eyes.

"Honestly I think you were the one to save me..."

"What?"

"N-Nothing!" His face turned red and I gave him a questioning look. Tapu Koko's face then changed drastically, his face seemed dark and aggressive. He glared in my direction but I knew it wasn't at me, he was thinking about something. "Those guys are jerks." He growled "They should know a good person when they see one." My cheeks tinted a light pink at his statement. "Hm, are you alright?" He looked at me and leaned in a little closer,

"I-It's nothing!" I waved it off and turned my face away. Attempting to hide the blush that was growing across my face. Tapu Koko shrugged and then sat back down,

"What was I talking about again...?" He put a finger to his chin pondering on what he was rambling about, "Mm. Mustn't be important." Th-this guy is something else already. He went on a full tangent about the bullies, AND COMPLETELY FORGETS ABOUT IT!!! I squeezed the bridge of my nose, not even sure as to what to say about this.

"J-Just j-just, ugh..."

"What?"

"Nothing... never mind..." This guy was flat out forgetful. I haven't even been with him that long but here we are.

"If you say so." He shrugged and wrapped an arm around my waist, leaning me against his waist for support.

"Thanks,"

"No problem!" He gave me a cheerful smile and walked me to the entrance of the cave, the rain stopped and we moved on.

"By the way," Tapu Koko looked at me "Where are you taking me?" I asked.

"That's a secret for now," I was a little confused by this and just stared at him "You'll see when you get there!" Tapu Koko gave me a warm smile as I limped through the thick forest.

Time Skip~

After walking for what seemed like ages Tapu Koko stopped me, "Close your eyes." He told me.

"But why?" I asked

"Just close them!" He covered my eyes with his surprisingly, warm hand.

"Alright, alright!" I closed my eyes and swatted his hand away. He led me forward while I grew impatient and all I could see was darkness for a that time period.

"Alright, open them." I opened my eyes and what I saw before me was absolutely beautiful. A willow tree that was blooming purple blossoms draped down and skimmed the clear blue water. I gasped and my face lit up, covering my mouth in disbelief. It was all breath taking!

"Th-This place... I remember it! I-I came here as a kid!" I strolled towards the willow tree in the center. "I always came here to relax, a-and get away from everything!"

"Yeah, you did..."

"You knew I came here...?"

"I remember it so clearly, this was the place I met you."

"You met me here?"

"Yes," He smiled at me, "This is the place I saw my first love, which is,"

"You."
