I sliced the still air with my sword. My pant legs swayed around as I practiced in my house. In a little bit I would do my daily round of searching in the mountains. People would get lost easily unless they had a guide, I was there to help find them. I wiped away sweat that trickled down my temple. I set down my sword and grabbed a drink from the kitchen fridge. After I quenched my thirst I decided to get ready and change to scavenge the snowy alps.

I pulled my scarf over my nose and pulled down my goggles. I tightened the hatch that kept the side cart on the snowmobile. Strapping in extra blankets and coats, I hopped onto the seat. The light turned on as the garage door slowly opened. Zooming out I swerved about the white, rocky lands. I came across a little Cubchoo shivering, it seemed frightened. I swiveled to a stop and hopped of my vehicle, as I closed the space between us the Cubchoo grew nervous. I crouched down to its level and took off my scarf and goggles, "It's okay." I reassured, "I'm only here to help." It seemed to go along with what I was saying and clung onto me. I took him over to the side car and set him in there. He wrapped up in the blankets and let out a small squeal of happiness. I smiled and pulled my layers back on, and started off again. A hoard of Beartic came passing by and I halted, swiftly grabbing the Cubchoo who seemed happy to see his pack. I stopped a few feet away from the Beartic's and let Cubchoo go. A small smile crawled onto my face and I decided to leave them to their happy reunion. The snow began to let up and I could see clearly now. I stopped a few yards from a cliffs edge. I grabbed a rope and hook, in case I needed to climb down. Peeking over the side I scanned for anyone, or any Pokemon that were unlucky enough to be down there. I then noticed the ground beneath me moving. The snow mound I sat on began to break down, falling down the rocky ravine. With quick action I stabbed my hook into the side of the cliff, it got stopped by a rock that jutted out of the side and stuck there. My hand slipped from the rope and I was dropped even further, but luckily it didn't snap. I got the air knocked out of me and struggled to breath for a few seconds. Once I regained my breath I rested for a few moment, swinging back and forth. "Great..." I mumbled to myself. The whistling of the wind could be heard above, then I noticed it. My vehicle was edging over the side, the snow mound must've pulled the snow behind it with it.

Then... it fell A squeal escaped my lips and I pushed off the wall, dodging the vehicle. But a metal piece cut the rope on its way down. I was crashing down and I was hit on the back of the head by a large rock. My vision went blurry the last thing I saw were glistening blue feathers and magnificent glittering wings made of ice.

I fluttered my eyes open from the darkness which I had been consumed. A fire burned a little ways towards the mouth of an icy cave. A man with icy blue hair sat staring at the fire in a daze. I began to shift around and sit up, but my head began to throb. I held the back of my temple and gained the man's attention. "You're awake." He said,

"Yeah, thanks for noticing." I said sarcastically, "Anyway, where am I?" I questioned, getting straight to business.

"You're in a cave, I..." He hesitated, "I caught you before you hit the ground." He informed me,

"Ah, thanks! So you were riding the blue bird, right?"

He shook his head, "I was the blue bird."

"Wait... what...?"

"A certain virus has been going around, where Pokemon turn into humans. That virus seemed to have affected me."

"I-I see." I stuttered out a little confused. "Once again, thank you for helping me...?"

"Articuno..." He told me softly, a light pink visible on his pale face.

"THE Articuno! Legendary bird ARTICUNO!?!" I said surprised and he just nodded and smiled softly, "I-I can't believe this. I-It's an honor to meet you!" Shocked I pulled back fringes of my hair, my hand slid from my forehead to my neck.

"Same here." He said a little above a whisper.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked him,

"Well..." He began, "I've noticed you help lost travelers and Pokemon to. I am grateful, that way I can help others while I let you do it. It's quite helpful you know." He said sheepishly scratching the side of his cheek as pink spread across his face.

"Of course!" I reassured giving Articuno a thumbs up and a wide smile. "Besides!" I patted his back, "I like traveling the mountains, it gives me a good excuse to ride my snowmobile!!"

"Right." He said shyly and nodded his head.

"Now," I broke the silence, "The only problem I have is how to get home... hmm..." I put my hand to my chin and pondered idea around. The fire danced and the storm outside raged on, "I guess I could hike home," I mumbled to myself, zoning out Articuno, "Maybe call up a friend...?" I was snapped back to the real world when I heard Articuno chuckle, "Wh-What's so funny!?" I asked flustered,

"Your just so cute like that!"

"C-Cute!?" I questioned blushing and he nodded, chuckling more. "Am not!" I groaned as my face heated up,

"Are to~" He purred in a teasing tone.

"What ever." I huffed and took a seat next to him. "Ah! I have it!" I lightly smacked my fist into my palm, "I'll just stay here and wait for the storm to stop." I declared.

"Brilliant, I'd hope you would say that." Articuno said as he slung an arm over my shoulder,  he pulled my closer to him and I blushed, but hid it behind my scarf.

"Wh-What ever." I muttered and heard him chuckle once more.
