I'm in the chorus at my school and today was one of our first shows of the year. I only joined last year because my friends were in it, but in that year I grew to really enjoy it. I do think they could have better song choices, but that's not my decision to make. The concert went well but Westley had a football practice today so he couldn't make it, not that he'd show up anyway. Ruby is in the chorus too, she actually got a solo! She's been in chorus since we were in middle school so it was well deserved.

Today Westley was so sweet! He took me out on a little date to the beach! We started out the day by going to a little cafe for breakfast. After that we drove down to the beach and walked around on the board walk. It was so fun we got ice cream, played arcade games and ran around in the sand! These are the days that make me stay with him, he's very kind when he wants to be. He can just be very busy at times. It was an amazing day! He said it was because he felt bad about missing my show. I forgave him.

Ross and I have talked a lot in class since that first day he talked to me. I've been getting to know him a lot. Today he told me that it was his brother, Riker's, birthday. He had told me about another brother's birthday last week so I was wondering if Riker's party was today or something. It turned out his two brothers have birthdays only six days apart! I could never handle that. He told me that he has four siblings and their names all start with R like his, it's a pretty cool concept. He talks a lot about his family, I can tell they're very close. I would expect them to be, with them being home schooled most of their lives.

Westley and I meet everyday after 2nd period to walk together to our next class. While I was waiting today Ross happened to walk by. He walked over to me and we started chatting. I was a little worried that Westley would show up at any second so I tried to keep the conversation short so Westley wouldn't get mad. I wanted to protect Ross, wouldn't want him getting beat up less than a month into public school. Westley shows up and immediately targets Ross. He put his arm around me and asked who he was, with Ross still standing there. I told him it was my friend Ross. Westley then tells me to start walking so he can talk to Ross, I walk away with my palms getting sweaty. I was worried for Ross. When Westley returned I looked back at Ross and thankfully he looked fine, just a little startled.

Later, Westley told me to watch out for Ross. He told me he didn't want him to get in the way of us. As much as I try to tell him that Ross and I are just friends, he won't listen. He gets very jealous about other guys, seems a little self conscious if you ask me.

Despite Westley's warnings, I continue to talk to Ross in algebra. He's so nice and so funny! I really love spending time with him. I recently found out that he takes dance lessons. I thought that was cool since I do chorus, we both love music. I love guys who like music. Maybe I'm having second thoughts about being with Westley...
