Calum's POV.

Sofie still doesn't want to tell me what happened exactly. She's on my lap, resting her head against my chest. I'm happy she already trusts me a bit. What happened to her earlier frightened me a lot and I'm happy it's over. She still looks a bit pale though. Suddenly she climbs out of my arms and wraps herself in the blankets.

"I don't feel good," she says.

I feel her forehead, by pressing the back of my hand against it. Fortunately she doesn't feel warm. She's probably still in shock, I think.

"You should have some rest," I say. "You might feel better afterwards."

I stand up from the bed. "Can I make you some food?" I ask.

"Uhm... no thanks, but I'd like to have a glass of water."

"Okay, I'll get you one," I say, before leaving the bedroom. I walk down and go to the kitchen to grab a glass and fill it with water.

I wonder what's going on with Sofie. Has this happened before? And what happened exactly?

Eventually I decide to consult Google. And after some research I figure she probably had a panic attack. The symptoms are quite the same. But why would she get a panic attack?

Sunken in my own thoughts, I walk back to Sofie's bedroom with the glass in my hand. I put it on the nightstand next to her bed and sit down on the bed. Sofie has fallen asleep already. As quietly as I can I stand up and leave. When I pass the door, I turn around and glance at her one last time. On this large bed she looks even smaller and weaker than she already is.

I meet Ashton in the hallway. "Hey, I thought I heard a scream or something," he says.

"Yeah, that was Sofie. She probably had a panic attack," I explain.

"Seriously?" he says surprised. "But why?"

"I don't know. I just asked her, but she refused to talk about it."

"Okay, I think I understand, but not completely," Ashton says. He's probably still half asleep.

I nod, as we head to the living room and sit down on the couch.

"How's she feeling right now?" Ashton asks.

"She told me she didn't feel good, but now she's fast asleep."

I hear footsteps approach and when I look up, I see Michael entering the living room. "So when are we gonna tell Sofie we're in a famous band?" he asks.

"I guess, somewhere this week, 'cause next week we're expected to be in the studio again," Ashton answers.

"Yeah and we need to decide whether we take Sofie with us or not. We can't just leave her at home, can we?" Michael says.

"Sofie could also go to school in the morning, while we're in the studio. One of must bring her to school. She needs to go to school anyway. And we could take her out to do something fun in the afternoon," I suggest.

"That's actually a great idea," Ashton says.

I hear footsteps in the hallway and look around to see Sofie, still wearing my t-shirt.

"Good morning," Ashton sings.

Sofie smiles weakly and I ask: "How do you feel right now? Better?"

"A little bit," Sofie says.

"That's good to hear," I say smiling.

"What are the plans for today?" Michael asks.

"We could go to the mall to buy Sofie some stuff for her room," I say, giving Sofie a questioning look.

She nods. "That's okay."

Sofie's POV.

"That's okay," I say.

"Can I come too?" asks a voice behind me.

I turn around and see Lucas, causing me to flinch and back away.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I scare you?" Lucas says.

"I.. I need to go change," I say, running back upstairs and towards my room.

It hasn't been too difficult to avoid Lucas yet, but I don't think it will always be this easy. How can I hide from him, if we live together in one house?

Maybe I should just stay close to Calum. I can trust him, at least I hope so...
