Calum's POV.

I somehow knew this would happen, but I secretly hoped it wouldn't. While Sofie, the boys and I are walking down the street, I already see some girls looking at us. Sofie becomes a bit nervous and walks closer to me. We should have told her this could happen.

It's getting busier in the street and one of the girls comes to us and asks for a picture. We agree, because we would feel bad if we said no. Actually I wish we hadn't done it, because all girls suddenly walk towards us. Feeling a bit like a worried dad, I want to grab Sofie's hand, to be sure we won't lose her, but notice she's gone!

"Sofie!" I shout. I try looking over the crowd and see her running away in the distance. I quickly try to follow her, but fail, because the crowd won't let me pass.

What do I do now? I scan the crowd again, but Sofie is gone.

"Luke, Sofie's gone!" I say.

"Where did she go?" Luke asks, while one of the fans takes a picture with him.

"No idea! I think she fled through the crowd," I answer.

"I told you this would happen," Luke says angrily. "How could you let this happen?"

"I'm sorry, I thought it would be okay... But what do we do now? I didn't see in which direction she went and we can't escape this crowd!" I say.

"Luckily I know how we can. We can just explain our fans and ask them to let us go. They probably will."

"Let's hope they will. I'm afraid Sofie will have an attack again," I say worriedly.

"A what?" Luke exclaims.

I suddenly realize I haven't told him yet. "Never mind, I'll explain later. We have to go now!"

We turn to the crowd. "I'm sorry, we really need to go now," I say. "Something... happened and it can't wait any longer. We have to go."

"That's okay," one of the girls says. "Thank you for giving us some attention."

"No thanks," I say with a smile, while Luke explains the situation to Michael and Ashton.

I see the girl I just spoke to, is now speaking to the others and soon they all step aside.

"Thanks for understanding," I say and walk away together with the others.

"How are we going to find her?" Michael asks.

"Maybe we should split up," I suggest. "Ash and I could look together. We'll call you when we have news."

The boys nod. After that Michael and Luke go left, while Ashton and I go right. We go around asking people if they've seen a little girl running by, but nobody has seen anything.

Then I get a message from Luke: 'We found someone who said they've see her, they said they saw her running somewhere near you.'

'Okay, we keep looking,' I answer. We walk further, but don't see her anywhere.

"I'm really getting worried," I say. "What if she had an attack? What if somebody found her and took her before we could?"

"Don't worry, we'll find her," Ashton promises, but I feel like he only says that to calm me down.

"I'm sorry, I just already have such a strong bound with her."

Ashton nods and then suddenly stops walking.

"What?" I say.

He takes a few steps back and looks at his left. Curiously I follow his gaze and see a small girl sitting on the ground, shivering and with her head pressed into her knees.

"Sofie," I gasp.

She looks up. It's clear that she has been crying, I can see it in her eyes. I carefully come closer and lift her up so she can stand on her feet. As soon as I hug her, she hides her face into my shirt and starts crying again.

"We found her," I hear Ashton say behind me. I figure he's probably calling Luke and Michael.

"There were too many people," Sofie whispers.

"I'm sorry, it was my fault," I say.

She gives me a questioning gaze.

"I'll explain later," I say and wipe her tears away, before pulling her against me again.

I'm so relieved we found her.
