Miraculous Ladybug: Double Heroes

(Mari/LB) Part 6: Looking For The New Miraculous Holders

Marinette/Ladybug P.O.V.

I woke up earlier than I usually did, grabbed my lunch that I'd packed the night before and left a note for Mama and Papa.

I ran to Master Fu's house and knocked on his door. I heard shuffling a few seconds later and the door opened.

"Come in, Marinette." He gestured and I walked in with a smile. As soon as he closed the door Tikki flew out of my purse.

"I've made two copies of each of he Miraculouses, even the Ladybug earrings and Chat Noir ring, one set magical one fake and plain. I shall give you the two sets of magical ones while I keep the fake ones to throw off the new villain."

I gaped at him in astonishment.

"You can make Miraculouses???" I questioned, surprised, "And how do you know that there's a new villain? Does this mean that Chat Noir got the Miraculouses from Gabriel Agreste?"

Master Fu frowned and nodded, "That's why I made more Miraculouses. You and Chat Noir will need more power to overcome this foe. Also, when you choose a new male Turtle Miraculous holder, please send him to me, he will have to be trained with the powers of the Miraculouses."

I nodded, not knowing what else to say.

"Now you should get going!" He said checking the time, "Don't you have school?"

I jumped up and shrieked, "Oh no! I can't be late!" He quickly slid two cases of Miraculous into my bag and sprinted to school. I got there five minutes early!

"Hey girl!" Alya called when I walked into the classroom. "You're early for once!"

"I know!" I beamed with pride. Alya burst into a conversation about the possibility of there being Miraculouses other than the Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Hawk Moth Miraculouses. I did my best to encourage her without giving too much away.

'Definitely gonna suggest Alya to Chat Noir!' I mentally reminded myself as I looked around the room. Juleka, Rose, Nino, and Nathaniel definitely deserve Miraculouses. They were all so kind as considerate and had a sense of justice.

'I'll discus this with Chat Noir on patrol tonight," I thought as class started.

*LE TIME SKIP TO AFTER CLASS*

As I walked out of class I saw Chloe and Sabrina messing with a girl with brown hair and green hazel eyes.

'Lila!' I realized, suddenly feeling guilty of how I treated her as Ladybug. I wonder if I could make her forgive me...

I snapped to a realization and ran to the bathroom.

"Tikki! Spots on!"

I changed into Ladybug and ran back over to where Lila, Chloe, and Sabrina were.

"You're just a fake!" Chloe yelled at Lila, making her duck her head, "You aren't really Ladybug's friend!" She taunted. "Moi, on the other hand, is besties with Ladybug! She's saved me so many times that she just stops over at my house for fun sometimes!"

I walked over behind her.

"I don't remember ever going to your house," I challenged as Chloe turned around and squealed in surprise.

"Oh! Ladybug! I was-"

"Save it," I responded tiredly as I walked over to Lila and held a hand out to her, "Are you ok? Again, I'm sorry for treating you how I did, I just don't like people trying to pretend to be better when they already seem so talented!"

She looked at me in surprise then regret.

"I'm sorry too-"

"No need for for you to apologize," I chuckled while helping her up. I'll definitely give her a Miraculous, just a less harmless one.

"Have a nice day!" I called to her. I saw Alya videotaping it, "You too, Alya and all of her followers! Bug out!" I swung away with my yo-yo then snuck back into the bathroom and detransformed. I walked out and over to Lila, who was standing frozen shocked.

"Hey, you ok?" I asked her as Alya ran up to us, jumping up and down, "Your name's Lila right? I'm Marinette and this is Alya. I'm sorry I didn't stop by after class but I had to use the restroom." I chuckled embarrassingly as she looked at me confused.

"So you didn't see Ladybug?" She asked, surprised. I pretended to be surprised too.

"Ladybug was here? Seriously? Alya, you got it for your blog right?"

She nodded joyfully.

"Well Lila, would you like to have lunch with us? I can spilt a cookie from my parents bakery with you!" I said, nudging her a little with my elbow as she giggled.

"That sounds... fun!" She responded enthusiastically.

We all laughed then headed to our next class, arm in arm and chatting up a storm.
