I am sorry that it has taken so long to write this chapter. It will probably be short and I apologize. Someone very close to me died and everyone is just trying to pick up the pieces right now. Matilda woke up before the sun. She looked at Kate's face sleeping next to her and she had mixed feelings. She didn't know what everything meant. She wasn't sure she wanted their "thing" to end just yet. And suddenly she remembered Scottie and the sweet kiss they had shared before all this had happened. She cringed and tried not to move for fear of waking Kate. She simply couldn't think straight when Kate was there, naked, next to her in bed. No sane woman could.
Kate stirred next to her and stretched her thin body out to get the sleeping kinks out. She made a sort of groaning noise that Matilda thought was completely adorable. Kate smiled, opened her eyes, and looked at Matilda. She laughed.
"Were you seriously just watching me sleep?" Kate asked Matilda with a raised brow. Matilda smiled and nodded her head. Kate laughed. "That's really strange. I mean. I know I am sexy but geez I can't say anyone has ever watched me sleep." She said and cuddled up to Matilda. Matilda felt a little awkward cuddling completely naked but Kate's body was giving off so much heat and the fact that Matilda's hand was able to rest right but Kate's butt was just a perk.
"Sorry. I have been trying to get rid of my weird personality traits since I was like six." She laughed and couldn't look away from Kate's gaze. "For someone who seems to be so worried about their appearance you sure do look wonderful in the morning with nothing on." Matilda grinned at Kate and Kate playfully swatted her arm. Kate looked down as if contemplating something and then looked back at Matilda.
"I had an awesome time last night. Like the best ever." She said, deciding that honesty was always the best policy. Matilda blushed.
"Yeah. It was totally awesome. I mean. You are like completely perfect in every way." She caught herself. "Sexually I mean". Which earned a frown from Kate. Then she smiled again.
"Want to have a quickie?" Matilda laughed.
"We kind of said we would stop so. I have class in like an hour and I really need to head to the library." She said as she untangled herself from Kate. She stood up and started to dress. Kate put her best pout on.
"Please Matilda. Just this once can't you skip class?" Matilda looked up from putting on her jeans which were only halfway on. She had a strange look on her face.
"I really can't. Maybe we could meet up later at lunch." Kate said. She grabbed her bookbag and smiled at Kate before walking out of the room. Kate frowned at the closed door.
She would have to step up her game.
