Special Academy

Chapter Seventeen

I'm glad I put some pants on before leaving because it gets cold fast out here. But I just wish I had a heavier jumper because my arms are freezing.  

The area past all the cool stuff that the school bought is just a forest. This forest is thick and roofed so it's very hard to see what's right in front of me.

I would use my power but I can't take the risk of someone seeing it so I keep my hands out in front of my face. I should've went around the forest but then there's a better change of finding me and it would probably take longer.

After smacking into a tree hard it dawns on me that we might not be in the same state as I live in. We probably aren't even in the same country, in all honestly I might not even be in the same world as I use to be.

Eh who cares anymore.

As I'm walking I walk straight into a cow web so I reach up to try to get it off my face but I slam my foot into a hard rock. I then fall to the ground slamming my knee onto the rock tripped over. I reach down and I touch my knee. After a bit I notice that there's a wet sticky substance so I decide that enough is enough and I use my power to see. 

There's a straight cut along my knee and I bleeding pretty bad. 

It looks like I walked into a chainsaw. 

I sigh looking around. Wow this forest is creepy, why did I think this was a good idea? Oh yeah escape I forgot.

I try to pull myself up but I fall back onto the ground. Man I messed up my knee bad. I'm gonna die out here. I haven't barley eaten in three days, no one knows where I am, and my knee is bleeding pretty bad to the point where I'm getting dizzy.

I groan extra loud before sitting up against a tree. I've been walking a pretty long time so I know that I'm fair enough away from the school to know that if I scream no one will hear me. MY LUCK SUCKS TODAY!! I don't know how it could getting any worse.

As if right on cue a drop of rain falls down and lands right on my knee. 

"Ahhhh!!!!!" I scream out thrashing my fist onto the ground hard.

How did rain get through if sun can't? Stupid forest.

"Hm your power works in this forest."

I smack my head hard into the tree, "You need to stop that. Like I said, announce yourself!"

I thought the rain was bad but nope Shadow had to show up and make it even worse.

"You know you show up at the worst possible moments ever." I say roughly as I move closer to the tree.

"So you don't want me to help you?" He asks moving closer to me.

I shake my head, "Nope go away! I don't need your help, I'm perfectly fine dying right here next to this sap infested tree."

He sighs, "I see that but I can't leave you here to die. You're kinda like precious merchandise and I don't want to loose any business."

He bends over and he picks me up bridal style. I push against him but he's pretty strong, I'm extremely dizzy, and I'm exhausted so I can't really get away from him.

 I can't see anymore because the rain made my flame go out but I can still hear the sound of Shadow's light breathing.

In almost a flash Shadow and I are standing in a room that's not in the school. All the rooms in that school have a certain smell almost like moth balls but this room smells like Shadow and sugar cookies.

I can't barley see so I don't know where I'm at. I get placed on something plush and comfy but after that everything goes black and I pass out from all the blood dripping out of the cut on my knee.
