I just came up with a 'theory' if that's even what you call it xD
VIDEO: I actually think that this song is about Avi leaving Pentatonix. As you can see in the beginning of the video. One light opens after another. And as you can also see, there are 6 lights.

6 lights that are representing 6 years of Pentatonix. When all of the lights are on, it means that he is very happy to be in the band/excited/his future with Pentatonix looks bright. The lights turning off one by one means that as the years go by, he realizes that his happiness/excitement is replaced with stress and sadness for him. Most probably because he can't spend much time with his family and friends.
Another one is with a couch. In the beginning of the video, he sits in a couch in a dark room. As we all know, Pentatonix filmed most of their covers in the past where they are sitting on couches. And him leaving the couch means that he is leaving Pentatonix.
When the scene changes from a dark room to a beautiful green forest. It shows that Avi wishes. If you watched the video of him announcing that he is leaving Pentatonix, he did say that he wants to relax and have time for his self in the forest. He wants to escape from all of this madness. All the worries.
As he leaves the couch. It means he's leaving Pentatonix. As he walks through the forest, he is surrounded by nature. Which we all know Avi likes. (Just like the way he mentioned in his message)
As he walks through the forest, he sees this light (in the end of the video) which probably means a new/fresh startin his life.
LYRICS:

In Avi's farewell video, he did say that it is hard for him to keep up withe the fast pace that Pentatonix is on. This exact lyric/line refers to Avi that he is thinking about where his singing career with Pentatonix has led him, at the same time he thinks whether he wants to continue it with Pentatonix or just go solo.

he is still continuing his life/career with Pentatonix and not doing anything/any decisions to change it YET. He is STILL on the couch. But he wants to be somewhere else. Then, as he leaves the couch. It means he's leaving Pentatonix. He's made this decision because he wants what will be the best for him and maybe the band.

This means that he tries to not think about his problems but he just can't. He tries to avoid trouble but he just can't. Until he got to the point where he can't handle it anymore and decides whether to leave Pentatonix or not.
