Chapter 14: The Plane Back Home

-Joey's POV-

I opened my eyes and was immediately blinded by the rays of sunlight. I looked over to my side and saw Meghan holding my arm, and snuggled up next to me. I smiled as I laid my head back and remembered last night. I took my phone out from my pocket, very carefully, not wanting to wake Meghan up. I texted Sawyer thanking him because he was the one who helped me set this up. I checked the time and noticed it was almost 2pm. I never sleep this late! I shifted around and slightly shook Meghan, and I saw her eyes flutter. "Good afternoon," I said quietly. She rolled on her back and rubbed her eyes. As soon as she opened her eyes she put her hands up blocking the sun. "Why is it so bright?' I chuckled, "Because we fell asleep here last night." She grunted and sat up, letting her arms fall and her eyes shut. "I don't feel like leaving." I smirked and got up and I put one arm under her back and one arm under her legs. "We have to go," I started laughing and I walked to the car. "You are something Mr. Graceffa," I carefully put her in the car, and closed her side. I ran back to the beach, grabbing the blanket and basket, while running back to the car and putting it in the backseat. "Ok? Ready?" She nodded while buckling her seatbelt. I buckled mine also and started driving. I grabbed Meghan's hand and we rode like that and talked the whole way to her apartment. I jumped out of my side and closed the door, while running over to Meghan's side and unbuckling her seatbelt and picking her up before she could protest and ran to her door. I unlocked her door and she was laughing like crazy. I closed the door behind me and came face to face with David. I let Meghan down slowly. "Hey guys.." David said looking back and forth between us. "Oh, I'm um- Meghan, legs umm sore," David cut me off by laughing. "I know Meghan's legs are sore silly. I just wanted to know where you guys have been all night." I was about to speak but Meghan cut me off. "I thought you were back home?" I looked at David wanting an answer also. "I wasn't staying there forever guys, I was coming back. The plane back home got here last night, so i came in and you were gone. Where were you guys?" He asked raising an eyebrow. I looked at Meghan for approval. She nodded and I carried her to the couch. I slowly placed her down on the couch and  sat down followed by David.
