Chapter Twelve

Amu and Sela was searching around in the apartment, going through their bags, the draws, and the couch.

"Where is it?" Sela frantically looked around the apartment for her necklace. 

When she woke up early in the morning, she was shocked to discovered that the necklace wasn't around her neck and immediately got off the bed to looked for it.

Amu knew how important that necklace is to Sela and how Sela would feel if they didn't find or it end up being lost. She looked over at Sela "Where did you last had it?" She asked while helping Sela find the necklace.

Sela touched her head and tried to remember. "I did have it on me when I was at the arcade," Suddenly, something occur to her and she looked over at Amu. "I might have dropped at the alley".

Amu frowned "The alley? The place where you got attack by those thugs," She stared at Sela. "Are you sure it there?"

"It might be there," Sela walked over to the coat hanger and grabbed her jacket with her bag. "I'm going to go check to see if it there". She opened the door to leave.

"Not without me, you're not," Amu walked over to Sela and grabbed her bag. "I'm going with you".

"Amu, You really don't have to," Sela smiled at Amu offer to go with her.

Amu was put her hands on her hips and smiled. "I wasn't asking was I?"

Sela looked down and laughed. "No," She looked over at Amu and nodded. "Let's go then".

Amu nodded with a smile. "Okay," She followed Sela out the door.

Tusk was standing at the door staring at the necklace that was dangling from his hand. He was getting ready to leave to do something important. He noticed that the clasp of necklace was loose and need to get fixed before he can returned it back to it rightful owner.

Misao had told him that necklace belong to Sela, which come as a surprise to him especially when the necklace that Misao found was the one he gave to Sharkgirl as a gift.

The sharkgirl he knew was Amu according to the photo he received from Sharkgirl. So how does Sela own this necklace? That was the question he has in his mind.

Could it possibly be that he might mistaken Amu for Sharkgirl when Sela could be Sharkgirl? He was wondering about that for awhile.

What about his feelings and how does it affect in this?

Amu,  she was the one that he was anxious to meet face to face and has a crush on because of the photo Sharkgirl sent to him. When he finally met her, he was happy and that she looked exactly like the photo he had of her. She is Sharkgirl that he had chat online. If it wasn't for a fact that he gave the photo of Yamato to Sharkgirl, he would have gotten the chance to know her and talk to her.

Sela, she was the one that he met back at the conference and then saved from those thugs.  He tightened his fists as he recalled back when he saved Sela. He was really angry when he saw what the thugs were trying to do to Sela. When he finally know her name and gotten a chance to talk to her, it felt like he already knew her and that he was comfortable with talking to her.

After finding out about the necklace belong to Sela, things are becoming complicated and confusing for him.

"Tusk?" Yamato's voice snapped him out from his thought and he swiftly put the necklace into his pocket. He turned around and looked at his friend.
