Chapter Fifteen

Leo barged into Sela and Amu's apartment, closing the door behind him shut. "Amu!" 

Amu swiftly sat up on the couch and stumbled down from it when she heard Leo came in screaming.

Leo rushed over and caught Amu just in time before she hit the floor and hurt herself more.

"Are you alright?" He asked in concern as he helped her sit back up on the couch.

"You should really work on your entrance," Amu suggested. "I'm okay," She added.

"I'll note that in my mind," He sat down in the chair beside the couch and stared at Amu's bandage leg. "What happen? How did you injury yourself?"

"I was helping Sela find her necklace in the alley when I accidentally hurt myself with a shard that got stuck in my leg," Amu explained and Leo cringed.

"Ouch!" he winced. "And let me guess, prince charming Yamato came to your rescue, am I right?" He asked and notices Amu was blushing from him mentioning Yamato.

Amu nodded. "He did and he took me to the hospital". She suddenly thought of something. "You didn't run into him, did you?" she asked.

"Yup," Leo got up from the chair and nodded. "I did and he still standing outside the door".

"Really?" Amu placed a hand over mouth, wondering if Yamato overheard what she told Leo. She watched as Leo opened the door to show that Yamato was there, only to find it empty.

"See, am I right?" Leo stared at Amu. not noticing that Yamato was not there.

"I don't see anything," Amu confusedly said.

"Huh?" Leo blinks his eyes confused and turned at the doorway to see Yamato was gone. "What!" He went outside the door and looking around. "Where did he go?"

Amu chuckled "You must have scared Yamato off," She joked and earned a glare from Leo. "I'm kidding. He just left to go find Tusk and Sela". She told him.

"Ha, ha, very funny," Leo walked back inside the apartment and closed the door.  "I have to ask you something'.

"Okay," Amu nodded. "What do you want to ask?" 

"How do you feel about Yamato?" Leo asked.

"What do you mean about my feeling for Yamato?" Amu asked even though she knew what Leo was talking about.

Leo sighs "Amu, I know you know what I mean, but you're in denial of it,"  He walked over to Amu and placed a hand on her shoulder. "You don't have to tell me how you feel for Yamato. I just hope you know what you are doing and not get yourself hurt in this relationship. I would hate to see you hurt, that's all".

"Thanks Leo, I appreciate your concern and will keep what you said in my mind," Amu told him and leaned forward to hugged Leo.

Not wanting to Amu to lean too much and hurt herself, Leo moved in closer to let Amu hugged him easy.

"Get some rest, Amu," He let go of Amu and stepped away. "I'll be back tomorrow to check on you".

Amu nodded "Okay, bye Leo".

"Bye Amu," Leo turned and opened the door to see Sela standing there.  "Sela?" he was surprised to see her and wondered if she overheard his conversation with Amu. He looked around "Where's Tusk?"

"He left with Yamato," Sela answered and entered the apartment. She walked over to Amu. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay,  just the pain from my leg that is bothering me," Amu answered.

"I'll be right back," Sela left into the kitchen and then return back out with a cup of water. "Here," She gave the cup of water to Amu and two medicine pills to Amu.
