Chapter Nine

Tusk sat down in the chair across from Sela. He placed the first-aid down on the table in front of him and opened it.

He took some items out from it to prepare to tend to Sela's bruise on her cheek.

"You're Tusk, right?" He heard her asked.

He nodded. "And you're Sela".

Sela surprisingly stares at Tusk, wondering how he knew her name when she never told him. "How did you know?"

"The little girl that you save, told me". He replied when he notices the surprise look she was giving him.

"Rei," Sela become worried when she remember about Rei and Miyu. "Where are they? Are they are alright?"

Tusk got up and walked over to the couch, sitting down beside Sela. "They're fine and are at the hospital getting a checkup". He told her.

Sela relaxed knowing that Miyu and Rei are safe. She looked over and notices that he was leaning toward her face with cotton.

"I'm just going clean your bruise there," He told her, making sure he doesn't make her uncomfortable.

Knowing that she could trust him, Sela nodded.

Tusk proceed to move forward to touch Sela's cheek with the cotton. "This might sting a little," he warned before he started cleaning.

Sela winced as the cotton came into contact with her cheek.

"Sorry," He apologizes as he removed the cotton from Sela's cheek. Then he put the cream medicine on the bruise area before placing a bandage over it. "Done," he smoothed the bandage out with his hand.

Sela slightly shivered from Tusk's hand touching her face.

"It twice," Tusk said all sudden and Sela looked at him confused.

"What?"

Noticing Sela confused look, Tusk slightly chuckled. "It's twice that we have met that you are injured and I ended up tending to your bruises".

"Oh," Sela slightly chuckled. "You remember,"

Tusk nodded "I'm glad that you're okay and that your old bruise has healed," He told her, referring to incident at the conference.

Sela smiles as Tusk put the items away in the first-aid. She grabbed the trash on the table and throws it away in the small trash can beside the couch.

"Thank you for saving me and for...," She begins to thanks Tusk, but he stopped her.

"You really don't need to thank me, it fine".

"But really, I do appreciate what you did for me," She told him.

Tusk looked at Sela and smiles. "Your welcome and I do believe we haven't properly introduce each other," He extended his hand to her. "I'm Tusk, it nice to meet you and see you again".

"I'm Sela, it nice to meet you and see you again too,' Sela shook Tusk's hand.

Sela got up from the couch. "I should really get home now".

"Let me take you home," He offered as he stood up as well and was standing face to face with Sela.

"Well," Sela was about to answer when a growling sound was heard.

Tusk and Sela eyes widen in surprised before they laughed.

"Sorry," Sela touched her stomach, feeling embarrassed.

"You must haven't eaten all day. That must be why you passed out in the alley," Tusk told her. "I'll go make you something to eat".

"Uh, you don't need to," Sela don't want to bother Tusk with making her something to eat.
