Chapter 8: Breaking the agreement

I wiped my tears away from my cheeks. Gosh, I was crying like a baby born in the lift. I didn’t know why I felt so sad just right now. I should be able to control my feeling. Beside, I knew this situation will come. Sooner or later. But still, experiencing it by my self, it was not that easy. Not as simple as I think.

When I reached the lobby, I found that there was a heavy raining in the outside. I didn’t bring umbrella. I just wanted to live this apartment as soon as possible. I decided, I will run through the rain. When I stepped out from the lobby, a taxi approached me. “Miss, please come in.”

I didn’t want to take a taxi. It costs more money. “Sorry sir. Better if I use bus as usual.”

“About the money, don’t worry. It’s free. I just didn’t want to see a young lady run in the heavy rain like this. Please come in, miss.” The driver insisted me.

I wondered why this driver was pretty nice. Perhaps God pitied me for being broken hearted and would run in the heavy rain. Thanks God. I nodded to the driver and opened the car’s door. My sadness will not drown in the heavy rain.

Someone noticed her from the window. He took a deep breath and smiling when he knew that a girl over there didn’t reject the taxi that he ordered for her. He knew if he ran into her, it will make everything getting into a worse situation. All that he can do now is making sure that Taeyeon will be safe until she reached her apartment.

A girl with brown hair approached him. “I’m really sorry Stephan, just if I could do that just like what you wanted faster than this, I’m sure all of this will not happened.”

“It’s okay Jessica. From the beginning, it’s my entire fault.” He walked to the living room and sat there.

Then he realized, there was something being left there. A pack of his clothes in the bag. He opened the bag and he found all of his clothes that he left at Taeyeon’s apartment before. “Is it really over?” He thought to him self.

I closed my book and turning on my cell phone. Actually, I was hoping message or call from someone. Even I was being hurt by him, but I still had a slight hope that he will explain everything to me. But perhaps, it is just over. Why I couldn’t get over it. It has been passed for more than a week but why I still couldn’t get over it.

I got a message from Daniel. Yup, this entire week, we were meeting intensively. I knew him better. The possibility that he is my Mushroom was getting bigger and bigger but I was asking him yet because I knew, Mushroom will be angry if I ruin his plan to fulfill the promise.

“Girl, do you have time this weekend?” Sunny asked me while walking.

I didn’t tell them that actually I had been dating with Daniel this whole week. I even couldn’t have anytime to hang out with them. “Um, this week I was really busy.” I forced my smile to appear in my face.

“Oh, come on Taeyeon! What is actually that you do?” Sunny kept asking me.

“Something. Here and there.” I took a deep breath. Sooner or later, they had to know about Daniel. “Girls, actually, I’m dating with Daniel.”

Yuri screamed unexpectedly. She was the cool one in our group. “You are not!”

I nodded to her. “Yes, I am!”

Sunny just stood and didn’t say anything.

I turned into her and asking her. “What happened Sunny? I think you are the one that always insist me to get a boyfriend?”
