He's Really Gone

Kara pov

"I love you, I should've said it before," I cried.

"I love you," Mon- el said kissing me goodbye again.

Eventually I broke it, "Okay, you have to go," he hesitated, "You have to go."

He jumped into the pod as I stood there crying about it. Soon enough the pod was programmed he took one last longing look at me, and he left.

I gasped from the memory that just played in my mind. I was crying, and sweating, Waking up out of my sleep has been happening for almost a year.

I looked at the man beside me, and snuggled in closer to him. He opened his eyes and wrapped his strong arms around me. "Shh, don't cry," He kissed the top of my head.

"How do you put up with me? I wake up in the middle of the night having the same dream about another guy," I asked whispering.

"You know I love you, and that I'm not going to leave you. Not now, not ever. I'm staying right here, okay?" He assured me.

I nod, "I love you, Barry. I know it took me a while to say but I don't wanna make the same mistake with you I did with Mon-el."

He smiled, "Take all the time you need. Like I said, I'm not going anywhere."

I smiled, and eventually I fell back asleep in his arms. And I knew for sure now that I really did love him, and that he wasn't gonna leave me.
