They liked each other from the start. Neither of them actually realized it until Barry asked for Kara's help with the dominators. But they didn't get together until after the whole Music Mistier mishap. They tried keeping their relationship to themselves for a while but Cisco accidentally vibed Barry and saw them kissing, then he told everyone.

(You'd think it'd be Superfriends, or Moon River, or something, but no. Kara was dancing around to this song when she was bored one day and she made Barry join her, the rest is history)

(It's just a really good movie. And even though they're basically a living action movie they like watching them together... and Barry really likes it when Kara cuddles up to him)

Random Stuff

Jealousy

Situation- This is kind of an odd topic but Kara did try to make Barry jealous once. They thought they should split up for a while, she agreed but then started missing him. She ended up trying to make him jealous by kissing her old flame Mon-el. At the end of the day they ended up yelling at each other for a while then he kissed her to shut her up.

Kara gets jealous of Iris all the time
(just because of hers and Barry's history.)

Barry gets jealous very easily, mostly of James and Mon-El... even Oliver (what guy with a girlfriend doesn't get jealous or feel threatened by Oliver?)

First Date

Kara and Barry never really had a real date. They just hung out once and got caught up in a moment that ended up in them kissing.

I love you

You'd think it'd be something like Kara was going into some fight with a villain and he was all like "Look, Kara, I love you, I can't lose you," and all that but no. They were just sitting on the couch watching a movie and she noticed him just staring at her. He had a little smile on his face and he was just mesmerized by her, by fact that she was his. "I love you," he couldn't help but saying. She blushed as red as her boyfriend's suit, "I love you too, Bear," she said and they kissed.

(They call her Liv for short)

Proposal

THIS ONE IS ALSO A JOKE

Barry proposed to Kara in the most unexpected way. Them being the crime fighting duo they are, they went to fight a villain in the park. After the bad guy was handled Kara turned around and found Barry on one knee. The world already knew the Flash and Supergirl were dating but seeing this went even more veal than the first news... but she ended up saying yes with a few tears rolling down her cheeks, and her scarlet speedster picking her up in a hug.
