The car ride home was silent except for the sound of me picking at my skin. When we went inside mum ordered me to my room. I followed her command.
"Well done, Jamie. What did you do this time?" Maddy, my older sister's sarcastic comment was the last thing I heard before I closed the door to my mess of a room.
I sat on my unmade bed and hugged my knees to my chest. Tears started streaming down my face and I started shaking. Someone knocked on my door, I looked up and Maddy's head was sticking in, she had tears in her eyes. She came fully in my room and closed the door.
"I'm sorry Jamie. I didn't know." She choked in between the tears that were know coming down her cheeks.
Maddy came over to the bed and sat next to me. She pulled me into a hug. I didn't hug her back.
