"Welcome back to the hell hole we call school" James held out his hand to help me up.
I wiped my nose on my shaking arm "Have you seen Kate?"
"I have but I don't think she wants to see you." He paused and put the toothpick he was crewing behind his ear. "When was the last time you saw her?"
"In the hospital she was there when I woke up and she shouted at me and then Maddy had to take her outside because she was so angry."
James looked at me like he knew something I didn't "Well good luck when you see her."
The bell for first period when and I started to walk to Geography.
"Jamie, wait. Change your shirt you're covered in sweat, vomit, blood and god knows what else" James smirked "There's a spare shirt in my locker, you know my componation anyway see you in Eco."
"Ok, thanks James"
James waved at me as he walked to Music and I walked to his locker.
