The dark moon pack was a very large one with about a hundred wolves, a hundred bitches and almost two hundred pups... Alpha Bryce was a strict Alpha along with his Luna (Alana).. We had 4 general pack house plus the individual family houses.. We've always lived in peace until last year when we caught rogue scents around our pack and cases of missing children ( well less than 5 though) which our pack warriors are taking care of..... Well enough of my pack. My name is Belle and I'm the Beta's daughter (only daughter so to say).. My best friend is no other person but strong headed Nathan ( the Alpha's son).He's been my friend for as long as I can remember and we do things together.. I know all his ex girlfriends and he mine. Our parents even told us of the possibility of being mates, but we knew it wasn't possible. Presently I'm with my mom in the hospital for her weekly checkup... Um.. due to her "good sickness"
"Annabelle I asked a question ".. Uh oh I didn't get that
" sorry mom I was out for a second " I told her smiling.
She just gave me that*what is the matter stare . I just shrugged and asked her what she said.
"You're almost 18 you know *sighs* I can't wait to start having grandkids "
*jaw drops*" mom where did that come from? You're almost due to give birth so I guess we should stick to the one baby at a time " I said as I attempted to put back my ear piece.
Mom stopped me with a loud laugh "who have thought you'll take this seriously. Hahahaha. Take a chill pill Annabelle I was only joking "
" I hope so mom cause I'm not even thinking about finding my mate yet. Oh mom I just wish the moon goddess would give me my mate when I'm 20"
Truly, that was what I wished for. I think I'm weird.. While others are happy and can't wait to see their mates, I can hardly stand the thought of it..
"oh silly you, that day will come and you will meet your mate" my mom said with a note of finality. I wanted to argue more, but was stopped by the ringing of my phone. Checking the caller ID, I saw it was... Nathan.
