MATED TO MY BEST FRIEND

CHAPTER 4

Damian's POV

I watched Annabelle run out of the pack hall and part of me wanted to run after her, but I didn't want to create attention to myself.

It was all that stupid Emily's fault. I shouldn't have gone to the goddamn party or better yet, I should have gone with Belle. Knowing Belle, this wouldn't have happened if she was there.

My dad and mom signaled me to meet them in their office. I knew it was time for the "talk".
As I stood up to go, someone touched my shoulders

"Hey babe"

"What do you want this time Emily?"

"Babe what's wrong? Aren't you happy you're going to be a father?"

I didn't have to reply. My glare said it all. I shrugged her hands off my shoulders and walked into my dad's office.

My parents didn't even let me sit before they bombarded me with questions

(Bold for Alpha, Italics for Luna)

"Son how did that happen huh?"  My dad started banging the table hard.

"*sniff* how could you do this to us"*sniff*

"Emily of all people ?"

"I'm so disappointed Dee"

"You've succeeded in dragging this pack to the mud."

"What are the other packs going to think of this pack?"

"Have you ever heard that such a thing happened to the neighboring packs?

"Oh! I doubt I'll show my face at the Luna's monthly meetings*sobs harder"

"Such a disgrace"

"Shame!"
"Shame!" They both chorused as just stared at both of them.

While dad was angry as hell, mom was sobbing and they were both staring at me.

I cleared my throat as I spoke.

"Mom, dad, I'm ...um ...I'm really sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen...."

"But it did...Goddess that is so stupid of you" My dad interrupted.

"I know you guys are mad, but it is done. It can't be reversed . Can we talk some other time cause I want to see Belle?"

My mom sob grew louder "you needed to have seen Belle's face. Oh Goddess, she was in pains. She might be your mate you know? I doubt she'll accept you if you both end up being mates. Its so sad"

I sighed in disgust "mom I doubt we are mates but that's by the way. I'm out now. See you when I get back".

I heard my dad growl, but I wasn't concerned. The old man should be happy for me.

GETTING to Belle's house, everywhere was silent so I guessed her parents were not in. Better if you ask me cause we could iron the issue out without interruption.

I gently knocked on the door, but got no response. I knocked loudly but still got no response. I could smell that belle was inside and I could hear the sound of running water from inside.

I opened the door and climbed up the stairs to Belle's room. I could hear the sound of the water very well now.

Entering her room, I knocked on the bathroom. Once, twice, three times, still no response. I opened the door and saw bath sleeping in the tub.

She looked sick and I was sad because it was all my fault. My wolf whimpered in my head and I felt the sudden urge to kiss her.

My wolf urged me to kiss her and as I leaned closer, my lips meeting hers, suddenly her eyes fluttered open................
