CHAPTER 3

Why did I have this strange feeling?
Why do I want him?
I can't want him ,can I ?
Well I'll just have to forget him

All these questions filled my head as I ran out of the vines . Having heard what Damian said ,I was mad? Sad? Angry? Ready to kill? I just don't know. I've never felt this way before. I felt betrayed by my best friend. How could he have done this? ,knowing how much it will hurt me. I'm so disappointed in Da.... 'Ooff' I cried as I collided with a block like chest ..

It was only when I looked up that I realised I had been crying the whole time.

'Belle what's wrong ? Why are you crying? Are you hurt ?'

I tried to ignore the alpha, but he used his alpha powers to ask me so I couldn't ignore.

'Alpha, its Nathan ....sniff......he got.....sniff..........Emily pregnant'. I blurted out ,as I couldn't help the tears that followed.

'WHAT!!!'

I jumped as I heard the voice of the alpha. I turned to see almost the whole pack staring at us wide eyed. They heard what I said.......Gosh could I have been any more stupid?

'Everyone should be at the pack house in 30 minutes. I heard the alpha shout in the mind link. I had a bad feeling about this meeting.

30 minutes later

We were all seated in the pack hall as we waited for the Alpha. The Luna was here already and was obviously as ignorant as most of the pack members. There were whispers from every corner as I felt eyes on me.

'SILENCE!!' ,the Alpha's thunder like voice sounded as everywhere became very silent.

Nathan and Emily were summoned, and the Alpha asked Emily if she was truly pregnant. Immediately he mentioned the pregnancy, she gasped and started crying.

'It just happened alpha...sniff.....I thought of abortion, but couldn't harm my baby'.

'That's what you have to do. I won't let this silly act drag my name to the mud... Get ready for the abortion' . Everyone was surprised at the Alpha's outburst.

At her mention of abortion, Nathan's frowned and placed his hands possessively on her still flat tummy. My wolf didn't like this and she growled a little too loud. Different eyes met me and I blushed.

'No father. Emily is now my responsibility and I won't put her life in danger. I admit we made a mistake, but it won't change anything'

'What about your mate huh? What would you do when you find her?'

'I'll handle that when the time comes father. For now, Emily is my business and I won't kill my innocent pup.'

The Alpha made Nathan vow to protect Emily and his future pup, to which he did. After the meeting, I ran home amidst the stares.

I figured I needed a hot bath to calm my nerves. Looking at the mirror, I shrieked as I saw my face. I looked horrible ; my mascara was almost all over my face ,and I looked like a clown.

I quickly got into the tub filled with warm water, and i forgot about what happened as I drifted to sleep.........................
