Jayden and I were walking to school laughing and talking, just like we did every day. I zoned out at some point of Jayden's story and started thinking. 'Jayden really is awesome... I love walking with him. He's almost magical. When I want to break down crying, he makes me laugh my ass of. When I want to kick someone's ass, well, he does too. We always have stuff to talk about. No matter what happens we are always together. If we fight, it never lasts long. If I'm acting like a girl PMSing, he tolerates it. If I need someone to hit, he let's me beat on him, though I try not to hurt him too bad. I am pretty weak anyways. And we can talk about anything and nothing gets awkward... That is, until now... Whenever he talks about girls I get this... Feeling. Something like jealousy. And when he changes in front of me now my face gets really hot... I don't know why... Maybe I'm  in lo-' I was snapped out of my thoughts when someone said my name loudly. "Hey, you alright, Sammy? You seem a bit distracted lately..." Jayden said with a sympathetic look. "No! I'm fine, don't worry." I said smiling. "Oh.. Uh, ok then. Well, like I was say- Woah..." Jayden stopped and looked past me. I turned my head slightly and my heart dropped. It was a girl. A girl who obviously caught Jayden's attention. She looked at us and waved at him. He viciously waved back. Two weeks passed since that day. Jayden had been spending less time with me and more time with her. "Sam! I have amazing news!" Jayden exclaimed bursting into my house. "What is it?" I asked casually. "I asked Eleanor out, and she said yes!" He shouted happily. I forced a smile holding in my tears. "That's great!" I said giving him a hug. After he left I didn't even bother going on my bed, I just collapsed on the floor and began crying. Between sobs I whispered "If you're happy I'm happy..." And curled up into a ball.
