Lionpaw growled as Bane tried to nudge him, his gaze set far off in the distance. All he could think about was the lies. Birdclaw, all those times you helped me... Just hiding a lie. His sight blurred and he stumbled dizzily towards the camp entrance. Star had been watching miserably. This was her son, who had just been told something that would've been better off unattended to.
Bane frowned. He had not intended to hurt anyone really, but he knew that he already had. Anger surged through him, and suddenly, he felt a distant memory coming back to life. There he was, only moments away from saving Nightpaw. The fox, hard on her heels, her hopeless squeals. Her last words...
Star pressed against him softly, but said nothing. Nearby, Leafpaw let out a squeal of contempt. One of the cats filtering in through the entrance managed to step feebly on her tail. The flourished tom jumped, and, as was his instinct, swiped out a claw. The blow just barely grazed Leafpaw, who snapped at it viciously. The tom let out a startled yelp, and before Stonestar or Bane could do anything, a battle had begun.

Sky perked her ears with alert as the noise of battle yowls filled the air. Suddenly, two cats came crashing through the undergrowth, both with terrified expressions. "Help us!" They exclaimed without a single glance, turning to flick their tails at the path they had taken. "We've been attacked..." Suddenly, one of their expressions changed.
"This isn't a Streamclan cat..." Leafpaw meowed uncertainly, pressing against Lionpaw. Lionpaw grinned. "Sky..." He had barely uttered the words when Sky started to yip with delight. She bounced over to him and nuzzled him joyfully. Leafpaw, almost with jealousy, growled. "Um, any explanations?" She asked, rather unhappily. Lionpaw grinned. "This is my sister, Sky. I left her to join Streamclan." He explained. Sky stopped suddenly and frowned. "Join Streamclan?" She growled. "You joined a clan..." Lionpaw flinched. Oops.
"Sky, I'll explain it all later, just calm down!" He meowed reassuringly. Suddenly, a yowl of pain split through the air. "C'mon, we've still got a battle to win!" Leafpaw called, and hurried back the way they had arrived. Lionpaw nodded curtly to Sky and hurried off after her.
