A/N I wrote this for the people affected by the Manchester bombing. It's tragic and it shouldn't have happened. This is my point of view on it, so I'm sorry if it offends you in any way.
No songs once the concert's over
No warm arms for the grieving lover
Just sirens cutting through the night
And fire, burning, evil light
Good people gone forever more
Taken in death's unkind claw
Police coming much too late
Didn't deserve that evil fate
Religion stands for peace, love, kindness
Not for cruel and open blindness
Why take those lives when peace could be
They used to live so happily
Don't sit there, brooding, taking fright
Stand and watch the world unite.
