Life,

Something so beautiful yet sad at the same time. Humans who were born into this world would bring so much joy and happiness to others but is constantly reminded everyday that they are growing and life is slowly slipping out of their hands. Some choose to spend it wisely, planning everything for their desired future while some choose to have fun and live their lives.

In the end, they would all have to face the painful truth of death. It will happen to everyone, no matter how young or old you are. That's life. You can't return back time or stop it. You have to keep on moving forward.

I watched as he stood inside of the operation room beside the little girl's bed. The doctors didn't notice his presence beside them and continued their work. He noticed the look on their faces. She's not going to make it.

Slowly, he reached out his hand towards the operation table and placed it on her chest. A light came through his hand and goes through the little girl's chest. Her breathing becomes stable again.

He smiled.

Her family members waited outside with a scared and concerned look attached on their faces. They immediately stood up once the doctor walked out of the door. Tears of relief rushed out once they heard the good news. She's alive.

I stood up from my seat once I saw his figure faze through the door. I smiled at him. Stiles, the angel of life. He turns his head towards the little girl's family members and smiled. They cannot see us, but he likes to think that their smiles and relieved faces as their gratitude to him.

"Great work. You saved another life today." I said, walking towards the exit.

"Thanks." He replied, catching up to me.

"Are there more lives that needed savings?" I leaned over to read the names on his list.

"Nope. That's all for today." As he snapped his fingers, the list disappears into a cloud of smoke.

"Are there any more lives you needed to..take?" He asked, cringing at the last part. I snapped my fingers, the list appeared in front of me with a cloud of thick black smoke. My eyes scanned over the list.

"Yup. One more."

As if on cue, Malia, the angel of destruction walked towards us. She wears her usual smirk on her face. Her stride confident and fast.

"Ready to go?" She walked forward, leaving me behind. This bitch.

"You guys go ahead, I'm not interested in watching. See you at home-" Stiles turned around.

"-oh no you're not. I'm not letting you stay home alone after the last incident!" Malia shouts as Stiles left in a cloud of smoke with a grin on his face. "That fucking bastard,"

I glanced over at my watch. 7:40 p.m.

"Leave him be, Mal. We have 3 minutes left," I stood beside her, pulling out 2 name cards out of my pocket.

Malia walked towards the center of the road and waited for the car to pass by. Sparks illuminated from Malia's fingers as she swung it to the car's tyre. The driver lose control and the car swerved to hit another passing car. She smirked to herself then nudge my elbow signaling me to do my job. I sighed and read the names on the cards.

"Erica Reyes and Vernon Boyd, cause of death, car accident. Time of death, 7:43 p.m." I walk towards the two cars that bumped into each other, collecting both of their souls into separate glass jars. Before I was able to place them inside my case, Malia take one of them from my hands.
