As soon as I got though the front door of my house I cried more then I thought possible but after a good solid ten minutes of crying the phone rang.
"Hell-hello?" sobs were racking though my body by now but I was never one to care about showing my emotions because to be honest it rarely ever happens
"Lucy I'm so sorry I really didn't want to make you upset"
"James"
"Yes"
"You can hang up now cuz I really don't want to talk to you"
"Come on Lucy I really didn't mean to"
-"Listen to me I don't care if you didn't mean to but you did so... Bye James"-
"I'm coming over and I don't care what you have to say to that because I'm saying sorry the right way this time. Face to face"
"Fine I really could care less, bye"
"I'll be over in two minutes Kay?
"Sure, whatever"

Sitting at the dinning room table I was watching the yard for James when he came into view I dropped my eyes to my plate where my untouched food sat.
One knock on the door and in he walked, clearing his throat and came right out with it.
"Lucy I'm so sorry I know you don't want to listen to me but please just".
-"I'm listening James"-
"Listen wait what?"
"I said I'm listening"
"Oh. ok anyway I am sorry, what can I do to make it up to you?"
"Nothing it's not you fault you didn't do anything Jamie?"
"Yeah"
"Oh so I can call you that now and you wont flip out at me?"
"Lucy come on I said I was sorry I'm just worried and stressed I got a lot on my mind"
"Well I should say I'm sorry because it just we use to talk almost ever day and when you get into a routine like that it's hard stop, but if you need someone to talk to I'm here"
"Thanks I really appreciate that Lucy but I'm not sure if that's the best idea"
"Oh, well I guess that's fine it's just..."
"You want to go out sometime?"
"It's just that. Wait a second did you just?"
"Ask you out yes I did"
Oh is this really happening? It just seemed so sudden out of the blue.
"Yeah that sounds like it would be good, great"
"Cool, do you want to come over to my place at around noon tomorrow then we can go to this really nice place I know."
"It's a date."
"Cool see ya tomorrow Lucy, well that's unless you want to come over and help with the car?"
"Definitely, I'd love to help. Sounds like fun and I'm not just saying that. Cars are quite interesting when you come to think of it"
"And there's the Lucy I know"
"Yep just got to get under all those emotions to fined her"
"Sounds about right want to head over there now?"
"Yeah let's go"
