Chapter 1

Ava's pov:

'Beep beep' 'Beep beep' "arghhh" I searched for the stupid off button on my annoying alarm clock. Great I love waking up at 7 in the morning on a Friday (note the sarcasm). I finally rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom.

I washed my face and brushed my teeth, then I went back to my room and picked out my clothes. I decided to go with a red crop top and some high waisted shorts. My school doesn't really have a dress code thank God!

I put my clothes on and went over to my vanity, so I could do my hair and make up. Yes, I wear make up but only a little. Today I decided to curl my hair. I began curling my dark brown hair that goes just a little past my boobs.

I put on a little foundation and blush, then put some mascara on. Once I was satisfied with my appearance I finished off the look with some lipgloss. I put my black combat boots on and a floral kimono and headed downstairs.

My mom was making pancakes mmm! "Morning mom" I said, "Goodnorning Avelyn" she said back with a smile. I devoured my pancakes because they were so delicious.

After I was done I rinsed my plate and grabbed my purse. Yes I prefer a purse over a backpack, don't judge.

I waited for my mom in the car since my mom doesn't trust me to drive myself. We arrived at school and I waved my mom goodbye and went inside.

I was walking to my locker when my two best friends came running towards me. "AVA! AVA! OMG! You will not believe what just happened!" Jeanette screamed excitedly like a little girl. "Woah calm down Jen, what happened? " I asked.

"Oksoyouknowthatreallycuteguyonthefootballteam?", Jeanette said so fast I couldn't even understand half of what she just said. "Jen you need to calm down and tell me what happened, but slowly ok?".

Jeanette took a deep breathe and started talking " ok so you know that really cute guy on the football team?"

"Jen there a lot of guys on the football team, you're gonna have to be more specific" I said with an annoyed tone.

"Sorry, Ryan...Ryan Whitman. Well me and Ashley were talking to Ryan *giggles* and he said I had a pretty smile!" She said too excitedly for my taste, I mean come on all he said was you have a nice smile.

"Wait that's not all, he also asked me if I was single!" "Ok and this is a big deal because?" I said rather bored. "It's a big deal because he might want to ask me out, I mean I can't blame him look at me."

Ok so Jeanette is a little conceited but she's still a great friend.

Ashely's been kinda quiet something must be wrong, should I ask her? Mmm maybe later it's almost time for first period anyway.
