Analise's POV
I was sitting next to Uncle Blake as we had some cereal. The sun has only just began to raise as we finished eating. We were going to be training today while everyone else sleeps. So far we haven't seen anyone else except a few guards. I told him of my dream last night and he agreed that I needed to train harder.
"Ready?" he asks after placing our dishes on the sink and I nod my head. He then lead me to the training ground where I saw him yesterday. Once we got there he attacked straight away and I barely dodged it as the training began. We'd start off as human and then shift when the other does.
Blake kept trying to punch me and I either blocked them or dodged them before striking back. I then started trying to kick him, but on my second try he caught my leg. He smirked, but before he could toss me. I jumped kicking him in the head with my other leg making him let go and stumble. We had gathered a small audience and they were placing bets on who'd win.
"Enough playing around Uncle" I growl before shifting and jumping at him. I slam into his chest as he tries to shift also. He'd shifted by the time we hit the ground and I jump back before he could strike me. 'You're getting slow old man' I taunt him in his head and he growls. He charges at me and I dodge clawing his flank. Not enough to draw bleed, just to let him know where he'd be wounded. It was apart of the training to pretend we're injured as if we would have been in a real fight.
'Very good Analise, but how's your agility?' uncle Blake asks. I climb up a tree and he goes to push it over. I jumped to an other tree and then he tried to do the same thing again. But this I jump down onto his back and try pin him. However, giant bear vs small cheetah. He throw me off and I slammed into the ground hard dislocating my shoulder. I growl in pain, but get up anyway and back into a defensive stance.
"What is going on here?!" Charlie's voice demands distracting me from a charging bear. Which was a big mistake as Uncle Blake had to much momentum to stop himself from ramming into me. Sending me into a tree and my ribs hurt badly as I shift back into human form.
"Analise I'm so sorry" Uncle states running over to me in human form. Everyone else was shocked at the outcome and that we still had our clothes on.
"It's fine Uncle, I shouldn't have let Charlie's voice distracted me" I tell him as I sit up groaning. "And you Charlie should know better then to interrupt a sparing match" I growl standing up.
"You should rest Analise" he tells me concern in his voice.
"I'll be fine, just leave me alone" I tell him and walk away.
"Leave her be laddie, she'll be fine" I hear Uncle Blake tell Charlie who tried to follow me. As I entered the house I was grumbling and mumbling under my breath. About how annoying Charlie is.
"Stupid Charlie, why did he have to speak. Stupid dog" I growl in annoyance leaning against a wall in a hallway.
"What's our son done now?" a voice asks I turn to it quickly nearly losing my balance.
"Whoa there easy" an other voice says as a pair hands grad my shoulder steadying me.
"What happened to you sweetie?" the woman asks looking at my face.
"Yeah, you look like you've been hit by a train" the man states.
"Close, a charging bear" I tell him chuckling.
"That's no laughing matter you could be seriously hurt" the woman snaps in a motherly way. "Come with me and I'll tend to your wounds" she tells me grabbing my hand dragging me somewhere. The man follows us and asks how I got hurt by the bear.
"I was training with my uncle who is a bear shifter, when my stupid mate had to appear and speak distracting me as my uncle charged. He'd to match momentum to slow down and rammed into me. If stupid Charlie had kept his mouth shut" I explain grumbling at the end.
"Like father like son" the woman mutters.
"Hey that was not my fault" the guy pouts.
"Oh where are our manners?" the woman states seeing my confused look. "I'm Leena and that idiot is Phil, we are Charlie's parents" she introduces them. I pale knowing I'd just insulted Charlie in front of his parents. "Relax sweetie, I agree Charlie can be an idiot he gets it from his father" Leena assures me.
"Where's the love Leena/Mum?" Phil and Charlie ask as Charlie appears out of no where.
"You two go prepare the BBQ for lunch while I take care of my future daughter in law" Leena tells them sternly.
"Charlie no hard feelings" I call after him and he shoots me a smile as he leaves with his father. "Mrs Cole, where are we going?" I ask.
"Call me Leena, Charlie's grandmother was Mrs Cole and we're heading to my office" she states. "You know I was friends with your mother" she tells me as we enter the office. "Until those retched Hans murdered her and your kind" she says sadly.
"Can you tell me more about my mother?" I ask her and she nods her head smiling. So while she attended to my bruised ribs and dislocated shoulder she told me of my mother. And how they became best friends before the war. "You know the son of the alpha of the Hans survived" I tell her and she pales.
"Want?" she asks voice full of fear.
"I had a dream last night and saw my parents, they gave me a warning. He is making an army of rogue shifters to stop the prophecy from becoming true. He wants me dead" I explain.
"We must tell Charlie and Phil" Leena states. After some argument she finally convinced to tell Charlie. I didn't want him involved, this was my fight not his. Not until we completed the mating process. Which won't be until I go into heat, which is a month away.
