BBQ and Rogues

Analise's POV

I got changed into clean clothes after having a quick shower. Erica entered my room with Lady and started to dry my hair before braiding it. Now we headed to the back yard for the BBQ with Lady at my side. She seemed to love it here and once outside run over to the pups/kids to play with them. I smiled fondly watching them as I felt arms wrap around my waist and tingles run through me.

"What you looking at Kitten?" he asks.

"Are you going to keep calling me that pup?" I ask smirking and he growls playfully.

"I am no pup and I'd be more then happy to show you" he whispers in my ear pressing my back against his chest.

"Down boy, I was looking at the children" I tell him changing the subject looking them again. Suddenly one of them fell down and I run out of Charlie's arms to the little girl. "Are you ok little one?" I ask helping her stand up.

"I'm ok, you're a kitty" she states pointing at my tail and I swished it in front of her. She giggled trying to grab it.

"My name's Analise, what's yours?" I ask her.

"Your name is pretty, mine is Chloe" she says smiling.

"Well why don't you go back and play" I suggest and she nods her head. Before running back over to the other children. They all start playing again as I stand up to watch and fell Charlie appear at my side. "What?" I ask tilting my head to one side wondering why he's smiling so happily.

"You'll be an amazing mother one day" he tells me kissing my forehead gently.

"Do you want children?" I ask him and he nods his head pecking me on the lips. "I've always wanted many children and the Moon Goddess said we'd have a bigger litter then usual" I tell him. "Oh I had a dream the first night here, that's why our bond is stronger. She mad so saying I was mature enough for it" I explain seeing his confusion.

"Well the most we had usually was four, but we haven't had that many in years" Charlie states.

"We usually had three or four every litter, so it'll probably be more then that" I tell him.

"Fantastic, when we can we try?" he asks.

"Not until my breeding season" I tell him and he pouts. "But that doesn't mean we can't fool around a little. It will be my first time and I want to be prepared for what to expect" I explain.

"I can do that and you'll be my first as well" he states. "I've waited for you for two years not easy, but I wanted you to be my first" he explains. "So it'd be good for both of us to get used to each on a more intimate level" he adds placing a loose strand of hair behind my ear smiling.

Just then the alarm was sounded about rogues being in the territory. Charlie wrapped his arm around me as the women and children were taken inside along with Lady. Uncle Blake appeared at my side as three shifters exist the treeline. "Leave you are not welcome here" Charlie tells them growling.

One of the guys was a wolf shifter with red eyes, black hair and a scar on his cheek. An other was a polar bear shifter and he was nearly as big as Uncle Blake. The final one was a horse shifter and he looked fast. "We only want the feline, then we'll leave" the wolf shifter tells Charlie. But he was looking at me and Charlie growled at him tightening his grip on my waist. "Surely you can't have feelings for her, her kind was a disease" the rogue spits.

"Your him aren't you, the one my parents warned me about" I say looking at him. "Your the son of the alpha that order the murder of my entire race" I spat growling and everyone growls around me. "If you want a fight, I'll give you one" I tell him.

"I'm listening" he states and Charlie growls.

"Two weeks from now we meet at a specific location with both our armies. Then you and I fight one on one to the death. If I win your army leaves" I tell him.

"Fine with me, there if a field in the south part of your territory. There we'll end this once and for all" he agrees. Before he and the other two rogues left. "Oh one more thing, the name's Valdemar" he adds smirking evilly.

"What do you think you're doing?" Charlie asks me.

"Protecting your pack, Uncle Blake we have to train harder then earlier" I tell him.

"I will not have you risk your life for me" Charlie growls.

"It's me he wants Charlie, this isn't your fight. It's mine" I tell him.

"I am your mate" he reminds me.

"Yes you are, but we are not one yet. Which means you don't have to protect me. Besides if I do die, I die with honour and you may get a second chance mate" I tell him.

"I don't want anyone else, I want you" he tells me gently kissing me passionately. "We'll do this together and I'll contact my allies. They'll fight for us"he assures me and I nod my head.

"Ok, but you stay out of the fight. Remember it's a one on one between me and him" I tell him. Charlie looks annoyed but nods his head anyway.
