Analise's POV

Charlie and I sit on the couch in his office together while I decide what to tell him first. "You know how the moon goddess got you to collect all the humans?" I ask him. Deciding to start with the dream I had of her first.

"Yeah, how did you know that?" he asks.

"The first night I was here, she contacted me in my dream and told me. She told me that when we complete the mating process. She'll have the power to turn them all into feline shifters" I explain blushing.

"That's amazing, there's going to be so many of you" he says smiling and I smile back. "Also with how many cubs you have each litter, it won't be long until your kind is strong again. But they will always be under our packs protection" he assures me and I peck him on the lips.

"The moon goddess also gave me this necklace, saying if I ever needed her. All I need do is wish on the necklace" I explain pointing the necklace. "Before you ask, my mother gave me the bracelet to keep others from forcing me to mate with them. It was the dream I had last night where I meet my family. Then her and dad warned me about Valdemar" I state.

"You can't fight him alone Analise, he's to powerful" Charlie tells me.

"This is my fight and why do you think I'm training so hard?" I ask him. "If I can take down Uncle Blake when he isn't going easy on me. Then I can take on any wolf shifter" I tell him.

"No you can't, you are underestimating him. He is an alpha like me and I could take on Blake & win. So even if you bet Blake, you'll be no much for Valdemar" Charlie tells me.

"It's my fight and mine alone, I will not have you or your pack suffer because of me" I state.

"Don't you think we'll suffer if you die?" he asks and I avoid his eyes. "Analise think logically until we mate and you get your full power as Luna of this pack. You can't bet Valdemar" he states.

"He does not have his full strength as alpha either" I remind him. "He has no pack or a Luna, only a bunch of rogue shifters. So he'll only have the strength of a Beta and they'd have trouble surviving against a bear. Let alone taking one down" I explain.

"You're right, but it's still be dangerous" Charlie says with a sigh.

"Then how about you help me train, that way you will know that I can defeat him on my own" I suggest.

"I think that would be best" Charlie says agreeing. "You know I don't think of you as some loyal bitch. You're my mate and I do love you" he tells me holding my hand.

"I love you too" I tell him and we kiss passionately. It got pretty heated before there was a knock on the door and we pull away from each other. Charlie growled at the interruption while I giggled.

"Who is it?" Charlie asks.

"It's Dylan, I have a message from those rogues" Dylan answers. Charlie sighs as he gets off me removing his hands from under my shirt. He went to his desk while I sat up right on the couch as he told Dylan to come in. "Find it at the border, it's addressed to you" Dylan states handing me an envelope. I open it and look it over before reading it aloud:

"Dear Cheetah,

My name is Valdemar Gustoff and your feral mother killed my father. You're race was a disease and I intend to finish my father's noble work by killing you. Ending your unnatural way of life. You will no longer have Alpha Cole under your control and he'll be free to find his true mate. There has been a slight change in plans, it is now three weeks until the fight not two. Some of my men are having trouble  getting here.

If you want to fight sooner, I am at your wretched families former territory. Know that I won't let your race return to poison our world farther. You will never be loyal to Alpha Cole, the second someone beats him in a fight you'll choose them. Just as the rest of your kind would. See you in three weeks.

Valdemar" I finish reading and look at the boys. "He's wrong about me Charlie, I love you as my mother loved my father. She did not turn her back on him and I won't do that to you. No matter what happens, I'll always love you. We will survive this and have our family" I tell him.

"I know that Analise, he's mind is the one poisoned by hate" Charlie assures me. "We will inform the pack tomorrow and continue to train harder. He won't win this war" he states.

"There's not going to be a war!" I snap and take a deep breath. "It will be a one on one fight between him and me. I will win it and the rogues will disperse" I say calmly. "I don't believe that so many would side with him willingly. He is probably threatening them in some way, maybe using their mates and family against them. When I bet him they'll be free to go back to there lives" I tell them.

"What makes you so sure he's threatening their mates or family?" Dylan asks me.

"I saw it in their eyes, the horse and polar bear shifter. They were remorseful and had sorrow in their eyes. As well as anger and hate, but not at me or my kind" I explain.

"I think you're right Analise, I saw it also" Charlie states. Dylan leaves to go see Erica and Molly, while Charlie rejoins me on the couch. "We will survive this and you will have a normal life" Charlie promises me. Smiling I lean into his side as he wraps an arm around me. We stay like that before his mother calls us down for dinner.
