Chapter 4.

Reeces POV:

I open the door to my house and hear laughing.
"Oh kyle what did i do to deserve you?" My mom laughs. I clench my jaw and fists.

Why was my mom acting this way?

I hear them laugh and joke around. I just stood in the doorway watching.
"Ugh reece is home," katy says.
"Reece?" My mom says.
"Oh I'm not used to her coming home," she shrugs.

"Yeah but your used to random men coming home... right?" I spit.
I glare at my mom and kyle and walk upstairs.
I hated this! Why couldn't everything be normal again? This 'feud' with my mom is hurting me so much... but why cant she see.

I sigh as i run my hands through my hair. I go into my bathroom and decide to take a bath. I run some hot water and drop a bath bomb in. I go back to my room to find my towel and my comb. Before i go back into the bathroom i see in the corner of my eyes shawns lights on. I look through the window to see shawn looking at me.

He waves. I wave back.
I open the window and shawn does the same.
"What you doing?" He asks.
"Taking a bath... I really need to relax," i smile sighing.
"You could've done it in ny house... with me," he laughs as he winks.
"Ew you perv!" I laugh.

"I missed this," shawn says.
"Miss what?" I ask.
"This! This banter we have, i missed talking to you across gardens," he smiles.
"Awh you soppy puppy!" I laugh.

"Look shawn i have to go and take a bath i will be out in like an hour so if you want you can wait then we can talk," i say waving at him.
"Okay i guess I'll work on my album," he says.

I walk away and go back into the bathroom. I strip myself of my clothes and get into the bath. It was so nice and warm... it felt so relaxing. I sigh in relief and tilt my head back.

After an hour of soaking myself in the soapy water I decided to get out. I dry myself and put on my pyjamas.

I go to the window and see the lights from shawns room turned off. I look at my phone and see he texted

Shawny💡🥀: I'm sleepy I'm going to bed but be ready tomorrow we are having breakfast!

I reply:

Reece: Night night *waves through the window*

I place my phone down and lay on my bed.
"How do you know shawn?" Katy bursts into my room.
"What the-" i say
"How do you know shawn?!" She asked a bit harshly.

"Why?" I ask
"Just!" She says.
"Me and him are childhood best friends, i met him when i was 4," i say. Katy tilts her head.

"So you guys never dated?"
"What? NO!" I say
"Well i dont know the way he looks at you... ugh i dont know! I'm just here to say stop giving your mom a tough time! K bye," katy says as she slams the bedroom door.

What the....

I lay down on my bed and sigh. My eye lids become heavy and before i knew it i was in a deep sleep.

{The morning}

*beep* *beep*

I slowly open my eyes and rub them. I look at my phone to see shawn messaging me.

Shawny💡🥀: wake up, be ready at 10am! Breakfasttt timmee i am starving!

Reece: could've given me a heads up shawn! I only have 45 minutes to get ready asdgsjsk
