Car Crash

Chapter four

     I wake up in a hospital room. I look around and see my Dad, brother, and his wife. "What's going on?" I ask looking around. My dad rushes over to me and looks at my brother. He nods and my brother walks out.

    "Why are you here shouldn't we be at Ryan's?" I asked confused. My dad was about to say something but my brother walked in with a doctor. "Oh good your awake" he says walking over to me.

He walks over and starts doing something to the machine I'm hooked up to. I look at my self and realize. I have a cast going up my leg, and a cast on my arm.

I also see a bunch of bruises all over me. I look at a mirror on my wall and notice I have a couple stitches on my forehead. "What happened?" I asked looking at the doctor.

"Well you were in a car crash with your mother an-" I cut him off by saying "Oh my gosh is she ok! I have to see her! I have to make sure she's ok!" I try getting up but my dad and the doctor wouldn't let me.

"You Mom's fine she's awake and in perfect condition" I knew he was lying about her being in perfect condition but I got that she was ok. I relaxed a little and said "how long will I have to stay in here?"

He looks at me and says "well we want to keep you at least a week to make sure your lung and ribs are doing well and your concussion from hitting your head is healing correctly.

He then leads my dad outside to talk to him. I hear him say before closing the door "her pain killers should wear off soon so-"

Great. I thought to myself. My dad walks back in and I ask him and I could see my phone. "Don't worry" he says grabbing my hand. "I've already told Jasmine and Colby they said they are on their way." Wait back up did he Colby.

"You told Colby too?" I asked confused. Wow I either hit my head really hard or I hit my head really hard. "Yes I know you hang out with him a lot so I thought he has the right to know."

      My parents knew the whole time and never said anything? My dad hands me my phone and, the screen is completely shattered. "Don't worry about your phone insurance is covering it."

      I thank him, and he says I needed to rest leaving the room.

     I decided to get some sleep, sense I could feel the pain medicine start to wear off.

     "Katie!" I see a red car hit the front of our car. "Someone call nine one one!" Glass shatters and go everywhere. "Katie I love you" "stay awake sweetie" "your insane Katie" "are you ok" "Katie come back!"

     I wake up gasping for air. Colby and a couple nurses walk in. They all rush over to me. "I'm fine I was just having a nightmare" I say. They check the machines and thank Colby.

      I turn to Colby as he walks over to me. I hug him tightly as he hugs me back. "What are you doing here it's like one AM!" I say about to hit him.

     "Before you hit me" he says grabbing my hand. "Your dad told me you were in a car Crash so I came as soon as I heard. "Wait my dad let you in here. I must have a really bad concussion." I say holding my head.

      "He said I could stay with you while he's with your mother. Oh and Jasmine couldn't make it her mom thought you need space and wouldn't let her come, but she'll be here tomorrow."

     Colby then makes me lay down and says "did you ever end up texting Anthony?" I start to laugh but then grab my ribs in pain. "Umm yeah" I manage to say.

     Colby nods then says "get some sleep" and walks over the small couch in the side of the room.

     I close my eyes and fall back to sleep
