I got my letter to go to Hogwarts yesterday, and now I'm on my way to Diagon Alley. With my great, amazing older brother. He has already finished his years at Hogwarts, he was in Ravenclaw, he was a prefect, never lost a single point, always handed in his homework. My parents have never been so proud.
"So sis, you excited?" He nudged my arm.
"Thrilled, can you not see me shaking with excitement."
"Ha.Ha. You will have to lose that sarcastic tone at Hogwarts, the teachers won't stand for it."
"The day I stop being sarcastic is the day you will stop being Mr. Perfect."

He glared at me, I sit with satisfaction upon my face. We turn into a pub called the leaky cauldron. Strolling through the pub as we weave in and out of a cluster of people, out into the back.
"Oh look a brick wall, I knew you were bad at directions brother but honestly this is quite shocking. I thought you said you got all Os. What a liar."
"I did get Os, this is a sealed entrance."
"I wish you'd seal your mouth." I mumble.
He pulled out his wand and tapped the wall, revealing a large arch way. Everyone seemed so jolly. It was sickening. He led us straight to Madam Malkins Robes for All Occasions, as we walked he continued to talk about Hogwarts and how I'll be living in his shadow.
"I swear you could trip over my shadow it's that huge."
"That what you told your girlfriend about your dick? If so, like me I'm sure she found out that your shadow is a tricky little bastard who likes to see people fall to it's level."

A girl my age started laughing, I think I have found my true love. She had dark brown hair and hazel eyes, in her hand she held a box which I assume had her clothes in. We make small eye contact and she quiets down, but still was laughing silently.
"Honestly Chelsea, watch that mouth, I know Professor Snape won't like it. Nor will any teacher."
"Fine, although-"
"No! Be quiet."
"Fine."
As we had our small argument, a small squat woman dressed in mauve had finished taking my measurements, she assembled my clothing as I sat next to my future best friend. My brother Ashton, had decided he was going to get my books and equipment, leaving me with money to get a pet and a wand. If I play my cards right, an ice cream as well.
"I'm Chelsea, so you are as sarcastic as me. Which is hard, I know."
"Beating you at sarcasm is hard, can't say the same for your brothers little friend though. Can we?"
I like this one.
"Girls, here we go, one complete set of Hogwarts uniforms."

Thanking the kind lady, I take my clothes and walk out the shop with the brown haired girl.
"I didn't catch your name, what was it again?"
"Leah."
"Cool name."
I walk past my brother who took no notice of me, he was in a conversation with a man in a turban, talking about vampires from what I could make out. Leah and I walk into Ollivanders, she hadn't got her wand yet and neither had I. Spotting a little desk top bell, being eleven I ran up to it and using my pinky, I dinged the bell. Quickly an old man came into view, was this Dumbledore? Ashton had mentioned him as an old man with a white beard, then again he said Dumbledore was the headmaster of Hogwarts. This man sold wands, but who knows, maybe Dumbledore wanted some extra money. The man stepped forward, looking at me. His eyes twinkled, a smile crept it's way onto his face.
"Ah, you must be Chelsea Wool, your brother Ashton achieved great things. You however, you shall achieve greater. I promise you."
"Don't let my brother hear you say that."
He then turned to Leah. His smile grew wider, clapping his hands.
"Ah yes, I know you as well. Very famous pure blood family. All very powerful, all sorted into Gryffindor. Now I believe they all play high roles in the ministry of magic."
"Yes, we are here to get our wands."
She seemed very bored of her family talk, I would be as well. Luckily only my brother did something worth while in the magical world.
"Yes, yes, wands. I've been saving these two special." He pulled out two boxes, one black, the other silver. He hands the black one to Leah, the silver one to me. I open it, it was around thirteen inches long, pure black and slick. Words lined the handle like a scroll, all in Latin, I was fortunate enough to speak a little Latin. It said: Fortem. Ingenii. Fidelitas. Callidus. Quod nec divinos, aut pythonissam qui hoc magicum. Est magnitudo, destinarant. Which translates to Brave. Wit. Loyalty. Cunning. The wizard or witch who possess this wand. Is destined for greatness. Very blunt. I gave it a wave and there was no shining light, no gold. Just a warm feeling, as well as power surging through my veins. Adrenaline filled me, I felt as if I could take on Voldemort. Or Dumbledore. Anyone.

Leah, took out her wand. It was eleven and a half inches, she had a dark oak wood one. With Greek symbols on hers, I can speak Latin. Greek symbols I'm not as good as. Guess she'll have to look it up. Ollivander seemed pleased, so we payed and left. Last stop, pet shop. My favourite place. We walk in, she was going to an owl. I needed one, but a small black kitten with a single white dot on her ear took my heart. The bell of the shop rang, Ashton. He came over, looking at the small animal I held in my arms. Already paid for.
"You need an owl."
"You need a life, don't see me moaning."
"Owls are important."
"Having a life is."
"I'll buy you an owl as well, mother won't be pleased."

We soon leave, with an owl and a kitten. I bid goodbye to Leah who met with her family of high status. I went back through the arch way with my brother, and we head home. Me being annoying as per usual and him being angry, as usual.
