"Sorry I woke you up, I just really needed someone to talk to right now."

My voice was no higher than a whisper. I stepped into the quiet house. My foot steps echoing through the living room. The door slowly closing behind me.

"It's alright. I'm always here to help."

His voice still high pitched even when just waking up. I turned over to Yugyeom, engulfing him in a hug.

"I made a terrible mistake and I don't know what to do."

"Just tell me what happened."

He quietly said whole breaking the hug and sitting on the couch. I sat beside him. Trying to think of where to start. I took a deep breath.

"I kissed Jimin."

It was dark and I couldn't see his face but I'm pretty sure he was shocked. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it like he was trying to think about what to say.

"Is that..a good thing? I mean I've never thought you would be into him like that."

I groaned, rubbing my face.

"The thing is. I enjoyed it, it was the best few seconds ever! But..."

I swallowed. Thinking hard about how to phrase my thoughts.

"But?"

"But I cant like him."

"And why not?"

My lips closed into a straight line. Feeling the knot in my stomach which makes me want to puke.

"My parents. They...they wouldn't except it."

It was silent for a while.

"Why does it matter?"

I licked my lips which were dry now from the tension.

"Because my parents are everything to me. I wouldn't want to disappoint them."
