Number Two was in silent shock. Her brother had just been dragged away to be killed... How could she not be in silence?

If that wasn't bad enough, the screams of Three, her eyes pleading and tear-filled, still haunted her mind relentlessly.

Her train of thought crashed when a rock came flying through her window, sending glass everywhere. She screamed and jumped back.

Looking from behind her bed, she saw a rock with a note tied to it.

"What is it?" she asked herself, using her ability to glide through the glass unharmed.

Untying the twine, she unfolded the paper.

     Dear Girl in the Window,

I know you've been there your whole life. Want to get out? I can.

Make a bucket list. It's a list of things you'd want to do if you get out.

She was glad he explained, because she would have otherwise had no idea what a "bucket list" was.

Number Two thought about it. Should she?

She shook her head. No. Of course not. She was kept in her room for a reason. There was probably dangers out there.

"Number Two, your dinner is prepared." the intercom's robotic voice said. The metal tray scraped against the floor but she didn't turn. She was trying to sweep up the glass, and it wasn't working to well, being as her hands involuntarily went through he material.

It was only when the glass was piled up in a corner that she realized she had no more window. The raw air was scratching at her throat and her green eyes stung and watered.

"Doc-doctor Cresswell!!" she cried. Feet stomped against the hallway floor, obviously listening to her cry.

The door slammed open to see Number Two on the floor, tears pouring out of her eyes and her skin breaking out in hives and bumps. She hadn't built any immunities against anything in her time inside, and it was breaking havoc on her body.

She felt arms pick her up by her back and knees, then carried her out and down the corridor.

Doctor Cresswell quickly laid Number Two on a table and inserted an IV in her arm. He drew several blood tests and checked her eyes and took a swab and dabbed the inside of her mouth that had almost no moisture.

She was...dying. She wouldn't be able to walk or eat for several days, and her ability would most likely weaken for a time.

A pounding came from the cylinder behind him. Cresswell ignored it. The biolimus held Number One, undergoing several experiments. His ability had increased, but he wouldn't let him out and didn't even have time to focus on him right now. He had to pay attention to Number Two.

Two hours passed and Number Two was now in stable condition. She was also in a comatose state, but otherwise better.

Astor Cresswell wiped his brow from sweat. He was breathing heavily. But surely, this wasn't over.
