Chapter 22: Soldier

Niall's POV:

I heard sobs and screams as I entered the house. I knew who it was, my princess, I ran to the room where the screams were coming from. I looked down and Sarah looks me right in the eyes then passes out on the floor.

"Sarah!" I get on my knees and shake her and tried to get her up. Thoughts run threw my mind, I picked up my phone and dialed 911.

"911 what's your emergency?"

"Um yes uhh my girlfriend is past out in the living room and I don't know what happened." I say panicked.

"Calm down sir. We have a ambulance on the way." I flush with relief and terror at the same time. What if they don't make here in time to save her from whatever she's going threw. 

I heard my door break down and about five officers come towards me. One picks up Sarah and takes both us to the ambulance car. I sit down across from the medic working on her.

"You ok son?" The officer next to me asks.

"No. That girl right there is my world..." my voice stops me from talking anymore. I had no idea that i'd been crying this whole time till I looked in the review mirror. I hurried and turned my face. The medics and officers hurry to get her into the hospital.

"Sir you can't go in the surgery room with her." One of the head nurse's tells me,  I just nodded and the tears become fresh in my eyes again. The same officer from earlier walks up to me.

"She'll be fine trust me. Hey...Your Niall Horan huh?" He asked. Helping me sit down.

"Yeah I am." I say with a sadness in my voice.

"So its true about you having a girlfriend and getting soft." He laughs towards the end.

"I'm not soft. I'm just not a heartless shit face like you." I smirked evilly at him. The anger in my voice is clear. He leaves without a word. I sat for moment.

"Sarah Ray." The head nurse says to the room after about a hour of sitting here.

"Yes I am here." I say standing up.

"Are you family or Spouse?"

"We're in engaged." She nods and pulls me aside.

"She had a panic attack. Is the any reason why she would?"

"She might be stressing out because its finals week." She nods understanding, I glad she takes that as a answer.

"You can see her. She won't wake in till tomorrow." I smile lightly and say ok. I walked down the depressing hallway and into her room. I looked straight at her when I walked in. She looked pale and tired. My poor baby. I pulled my phone out. After the fourth ring someone answers.

"Hello."

"Hi Mrs. Ray. Its Niall, Sarah's in the hospital. She had a panic attack."

"Not again. I'll be there call Trinity after me and tell her i'll be there. And Niall" She pauses.

"Yes?"

"Thank you for calling me."

"I just thought the only person to make sense of this is you. You know her the best."

"I know my daughter very well. And she doesn't stand up to me for no reason. She's very like-minded and naïve. But she stood up to me for you. You must be a good person. Niall I trust you with my daughter, special after today."

"Thank you that means a lot."

"Your welcome. Now why did my daughter have a panic attack?"

"I'm not sure. I came to check on her after school and she looked at me then passed out."

"That happens with panic attacks. I have to go, I'm getting on a plane in a hour. I'll be there soon."

"Ok Bye Mrs. Ray."

"Goodbye Niall."  I hung up and walked over to Sarah and grabbed her hand. I lied to Sarah's mom, I do know why Sarah had a panic attack. I just didn't know how to tell her. I texted Trinity and of course she freaked out but eventually calmed down. Her and Louis arrived a little later. Then Perrie and Zayn and Sophia & Liam. Even Harry showed up. They all try to comfort me. But no one can comfort me the way she can. She can change me emotions in seconds. I stayed up the whole night with the boys. Knowing if I fell asleep I would surly have horrifying nightmares.

"What happened?" Zayn asked as soon as all the girls were asleep.

"She had a panic attack. I think over Lucas." I say with anger raging as I spit out his name. They just nod their heads understanding.

"She'll wake up right?" Harry asked me.

"Yeah Tomorrow. At least that's what the nurse said."

"Then we wait.." Louis says and grips my shoulder.

The next morning her mom arrives and were all sitting geese waiting for Snow white or Sleeping beauty or whatever to wake up. Louis and Harry run out for food cause hospital food is crap. The girls and Liam & Zayn go and get changed and get Sarah some clothes. Then it was me and Sarah's mom. I waited for her to say something. Or for Sarah too but nothing, nothing but silence.

"I have to go to the bathroom, and I have to call Sarah's dad. I also have to pick some things. I'll be back soon."  Sarah's mom runs towards the door and walks out. Just me and Sarah. I haven't left this spot, I have stayed in this spot hoping for her to wake up. I lean forward and lay my face on her stomach and close my eyes. I feel the deepness of sleep take over.

I felt a hand brushing and playing with my hair. I quickly jerk up, then I see the thing I've been wanting to see for the last day and a half. Her green eyes.

"Sarah." I cried out and grab her face, I kissed her passionately. We kissed for a long second before pulling away.

"Hey Ni." Her voice sounds hoarse.

"Hey love lets get you some water." I say grabbing the cup on her bedside table. I gave her some.

"Sarah, what  happened?"

"I got a phone call............................................................."
