III. Once Upon

Once upon a midnight dreary,
When streets are bare, empty,
A moon hung over the sky,
A night for hearts to intertwine,

Once upon a summer breeze,
A girl denies to be flattered,
A boy don't need no charm,
A glint of magic hung in the air,

Once upon a romantic song,
As a melodious tune plays,
the musician is love struck,
a piece belonging to the fan,

Once upon a far away land,
The poor succumbs to neglect,
The rich does not arrive on time,
Sea and sand still become one,

Once upon an everlasting dream,
No prince and horse to be seen,
The princess still becomes the queen,
the real always ends happily ever after,

Once upon a half passed life,
A scrooge and a widow,
Both spent lives in solace,
Yet life changed its tide,

Once upon a time,
Love was surreal,
Chained up and alive,
The magic stands still.
