II. Slept Awake

In the midst of winter dreams
A place coexists beyond time
Covered in pure flaky snow
Explore it in this rhyme

                          
White bedsheets toppled over green
Snowflakes caress the shrub
Neat rows of cherubic plant life
A bubbling river like a hot tub

                          
Rows of fragrant cherry blossoms
The clairvoyant winter trail
Wonder to many; Sight to few
Shall we win or shall we fail?

                          
Knights,queens and faeries
A magical Winter Wonderland!
Settled like Father Frost
Precocious choices in hand

                          
Clouds stay frozen in scene
Thought-provoking icicle growth
Is this real or is this some dream...
Or is this possibly of both?
