Thalia gasps. I don't know if that's from amazement or shock.
"This... This is awesome!" she says looking around the room. It was my secret hideout. Only me and Leo know about it but I thought it was time to show the others.
It's painted midnight blue and has all the things out friends are into. Book for Annabeth, archery range for Thalia, a waterfall and sword dummies for Percy, a small forge for Leo, a dresser/makeup storage for Piper, a trapdoor on the roof for Jason, and a shelf with Nico's old mythomagic toys. Because of my gift from the gods, I'm into all these things.
"How are you hiding this? It's huge!" Thalia says, roaming around. She lightly touches the bookcase and stabs a dummy in the gut.
"We use reflector pads set outside."
"We?" Thalia asks puzzled.
"Leo and I." I correct myself.
"Do you like Leo, by any chance?"
I started to blush. Can people see right through me or something? "Well, yeah, kind of, maybe... It's complicated. How'd ya guess?"
"You guys are always hanging out together and building amazing things, I kind of figured." Thalia replies, smirking. I smirk back and we burst out into laughter. We'r just strange like that.
"Wanna try out the archery range with me?" I ask. Her eyes perk up.
"Hell yeah! What kind of question is that?" Then we race to the range and quickly begin shooting arrows. Even with her blessing, Thalia had some fail shots. But me, I was shooting bullseyes.
Every fail shot Thalia got, I shoot it and split it in half.
"Quit making me feel like a derp!" She says stomping her foot.
"Haha!"
The horn for breakfast blows and we look at eachother.
"Shall we go?" I say.
"We shall." Thalia replies.
