Chapter 11

Kristina went as fast as she could to see Harry. He was so sweet on the phone. He wanted to be with her. And she wanted to be with him. Plus, she didn't want him waiting.

Wouldn't that be rude not to come right away? Or does it seem desperate? Well he said as soon as possible. Kristina was just a wreck. She was still pretty upset about the night before. In her mind, she can still see a crystal clear picture of all the hate.

All the comments. All the death threats. And here's the thing about the human mind: you can't erase things. It isn't like a phone where you can delete old texts. It is permanently burned into your mind. Glued. Forever. And some more than others. This memory was stuck in her mind. She can't get it out.

No matter how hard she tried.

When Kristina got to Harry's house he opened the door right away and greeted her with a pleasant smile. He look completely happy to see her. This was such a change. She would never get a look like that from Lance. He would just give her a blank stare. Almost like a cold, death stare. A stare that says "Why? Why are you here?"

Kristina was very happy to see Harry. Thinking of his name just makes her feel warm and safe. But, she was so upset about the night before that she could only put on a fake smile.

But she didn't want to seem fake to Harry. She also didn't what to hide anything from him. Not like Lance. He hid everything from her. That includes girl number two. No. Kristina stopped herself. She needs to stop comparing Lance and Harry. Harry is amazing. Lance is a jerk. She needs to live in the moment. Lance is gone. Harry is here. That is that.

Kristina was back in reality. She found herself standing in Harry's doorway. They were both looking each other in the eye. In silence, standing there. It was sort of an unspoken language. By starring into each others mind they can communicate. It was so romantic. Harry invited her inside and they both sat down on the couch. Kristine sat on one leg while the other touched the floor.

Harry sat sort of criss crossed. They were sitting close to each other. But not side to side. Across from each other. They were facing one another. They could look into each other's eyes this way. There are no lies.

"Can I tell you something?" Harry asked, breaking the silence. "Yes. Anything. Please." Kristina said. It made her feel a little bit embarrassed. Harry chuckled, exposing his deep dimples. "Well. To be truthful,  I was nervous to tell the guys about you..about..us. It was so stupid. I was stressing out about it thinking it was going to be a bloody mess." Harry confessed. "Well was it?" Kristina asked.

"No. That's the thing. When I finally told them everything was fine. We even cracked some jokes. I was nervous for nothing." "Well why were you nervous to tell them? like.. what did you think was going to happen?" "I guess..I don't know. I thought they would laugh at me. I thought they wouldn't believe me. I've been single for a while now. I've been trying to find the right girl.." Kristina though that was so cute.

That made her feel so special. It made her feel...wanted. But she wouldn't admit that. Definitely not. Harry broke her though. "Is everything okay, Babe?" Kristina had to think for a minute. No. Everything is not okay. She wanted to tell Harry. But, at the same time she didn't. She didn't want to ruin everything. She opened her mouth but nothing but air came out. Harry looked so confused.

"I guess you don't want to tell me, huh?" Said Harry in a voice that made Kristina feel bad. "It's not like that!" she exclaimed. "I want to tell you! But I can't!" "Well why can't you trust me? Not even a little. I just told you about telling the boys. I could've easily not told you that. But I did. I thought you were my girlfriend. I thought people in a relationship tell each other everything."

Said Harry in a very annoyed voice. "FINE!" Kristina yelled. "You want to know?! I got a death threat. Wait no. Death threatS! And hate mail. Just because someone took a stupid picture of us kissing in the park yesterday. I didn't want to tell you because it was scary to me okay?!" she felt angry, said, and confused all at the same time. "I'm sorry, Kristina. I didn't mean to say everything like that. I just thought you were hiding something from me. I'm SO sorry.

I feel like such a jerk." A tear went down Kristina's face. "I have to go now." she said in a panic. She grabbed her bag and ran out. On her way outside, Harry ran after her. He was a lot faster so he caught her really quickly.y "I know you don't have to leave. Look at me please. Kristina. I..I love you." she stopped walking. She didn't move a muscle. "I love you too." Kristina said, without turning around. She could hear Harry coming closer to her. He gently placed his hand on her shoulder.

She turned around slowly. He looked her dead in the eyes. He started to say sorry again but Kristina cut him off with a kiss. He stared to kiss her back. There they were. Stand outside kissing.

The thunder started to boom. Minutes after it started raining. But Harry and Kristina were oblivious. They were getting soaking wet but they didn't care. They continued on anyway.
