I Will Never Forget ( Hawaii Five-O)

Chapter 1

Sadie's POV

I woke up screaming after having a nightmare about my " boyfriend," Nathan. He forced me into a relationship, I looked at the bruises on my arm then looked at the clock... 3 AM. My dad comes running in with a worried look on his face...

Dad: Sadie you OK

I nod, but I don't make eye contact.

Dad: Sadie, look at me

I look up to see my dad standing at the end of my bed with his arms crossed.

Dad: Sadie it has been three weeks of you having nightmares, is there something going on

I shook my head, not trusting myself to speak

My dad was about to say something when his phone rang...

Dad: we will continue this later...

I laid back down but I can't fall asleep...

Steve's POV

I get a call from Danny about a case but I was distracted because I was wondering if Sadie was keeping something from me...

Danny: Steve ... are you listening
Steve: yes I am
Danny: is there something wrong
Steve: it is about Sadie
Danny: is she OK
Steve: she has been having nightmare for three weeks now but whenever I ask her about it she gives me the same answer, that she is fine
Danny: want me to talk to her
Steve: sure, you have to pick her up from school anyway
Danny: yeah, see you in a bit
Steve: bye
Danny: bye

Sadie's POV

I was at school heading to my last class of the day when I got stopped by Nathan...

Nathan: where have you been all day
Sadie:(annoyed) ... In class... What do you expect?
Nathan: I would change your tone if I were you

My friends would say I have my father's temper which is true because I lost it ...

Sadie: I WOULD STOP THREATENING ME IF I WERE YOU
Nathan: what did I say about your tone
Sadie: I DON'T CARE ABOUT MY TONE, I AM DONE WITH YOU. WE ARE OVER!!!

Nathan's face flush red in anger and he slaps me across the face with the back of his hand. I whimpered in pain as I know for sure that will have a black eye but I also regret having my outburst

Nathan: Sadie listen to me, you are my girlfriend and you have no choice in the matter. If you outburst like that again you will be very sorry

Nathan walks away, leaving me to head to class but instead I run to the bathroom to see a huge purple bruise around my eye ... great how am I going to explain this to uncle Danny. I grab my stuff and headed to study period which I always go to the library.

I waited on the steps for Uncle Danny, but before I realized it Nathan is kissing me, I pull away just as Danny pulls up. I get in to the front seat and looked away from Danny as we drove away from the school...

Danny: Sadie, your dad wanted me to talk to you about your nightmares

Sadie: Danno, there is nothing to talk about.... I am fine....

Danny pulls over...

Danny: Sadie look at me

I sighed but looked at him, his eyes widen at the sight of my black eye...

Danny: explain yourself, why do you have a black eye

Sadie: I got hit in the face with a baseball

Danny didn't seem convinced but didn't say anything. He starts driving again.
A few minutes later we are at Five-O Headquarters, I head inside avoiding eye contact with Uncle Chin but he notices and steps in front of me. Uncle Chin holds the bottom my chin with his hand to make me look at him and just so happens to see my black eye...

Chin: Steve... Kono, you are going to want to see this

Kono and my dad step out of their offices and walked over towards me, and it didn't take long for them to notice my bruise

Kono: What happened?!

I could feel the tears forming in my eyes, turned around and ran to the bathroom, locked myself into a stall and then I began to sob. All I wanted was for Nathan to stop hitting me and for the relationship to end so I don't have to lie to my family anymore.
I heard the bathroom door open and I heard my auntie Kono's voice and I sobbed harder

Kono: Sadie are you OK, your dad wants to talk to you

Sadie: I can't
Kono: why not
Sadie: I can't say ....
