Sadie's POV
I walked down the beach just remembering everything that has been going on, I never asked to be forced into a relationship. I feel like my parents just don't understand me, my phone goes off and I look at the caller ID, it is Duke.
Sadie: hey duke, what's up
Duke: I just wanted to let you know that the guy who assaulted you was bailed out of jail
Sadie: HOW?!
Duke: a family member of his got him out
I was trying so hard not to cry, but I couldn't hold it in
Duke: should I call your parents
Sadie: go ahead
Duke: alright, be safe
Sadie: aloha, Duke
After hanging up I dropped to my knees and sobbed.
Steve's POV
I can sort of understand what was going on with Sadie but at the same time, I wish she came to me or even Danny.
I heard my phone ring, only to find out that Duke was calling me... he called to tell me that Nathan was bailed out of jail. I knew that had to find Sadie, a few minutes later I found Sadie crying into her knees.
I rub her back and she moves closer until was she crying into my shoulder. I picked Sadie up and carried her back to the house, I set her on her bed and said, " I will never allow Nathan to hurt you again."
She nods and wraps her around me as she cries into my shoulder until she falls asleep.
I walk downstairs to find Catherine watching "The Notebook".
This has truly been the longest day ever.
