Chapter Song● We Don't Talk Anymore by Charlie Pith ft. Selena Gomez

Ethan~

It's been two weeks since her arrival in my life and she has been a chaos, again. Joy Miller can never be normal again, I believe that some kind of evil has gotten into her and now, she is a misery, for everyone.

Okay, maybe only for me !!!

I can't think of having her beside my for six months. Lord bless me, make me more patient. In the past two weeks, I've had enough of her nusensces. I asked her to bring my regular coffee one day, she ended up bringing a frappe! I asked her to put the files on my table and she ended up putting the whole shelf on my table. I'm so done with her. I've decided that I need to talk to Dad.

So I headed towards his room as soon as I got the news of his arrival.

"Dad," I said as I entered his office.

"Son, I was going to call you. Good that you came yourself."

"Is there a problem? How did the meeting in Dubai go?"

"Oh, that went great. It's about something else."

"What?" I didn't understand his words.

"I came to know about your behaviour towards Joy."

"Oh, so she already complained about it."

"Oh heck no, she didn't. Marisa told me about it. That poor girl wouldn't ever come to complain to me, that too, about you."

"You support her too much." I can't believe she would ask Marisa to talk to Dad.

"Because you don't." Dad said.

"She doesn't deserve it."

Yes, that's true. Joy Miller doesn't deserve even a little bit of my attention and care.

"What did the poor girl do that you made her run out of your room, crying?" Dad said.

"What would you do if someone barges into your room when you are busy working?" I justified myself to the best possible extent.

"Your mother did that all the time." Dad grinned cheekily as if be was remembering Mom.

Or was he comparing her with Joy?

"There is a difference between Mom and Miss Miller, Dad." I said, as I now sat on the chair in front of dad's table.

"Is there? I think that girl is just like Nancy." Really? He thinks Joy Miller is like Mom? Oh come on dad. No, no, no.

"No, she isn't." I said.

"Yes, she is."

Yup that's what he said.

"We're not arguing on this Dad. Tell me about the meeting."

"What has happened to you Ethan? You were never like this. Don't you remember that old friend of yours?"

"She was never my friend."

"Oh, shut up son."

"Dad, I think I should leave." I behan getting up when Dad spoke up again.

"Thats what you do, always." Dad's words were something that hit me like a dagger.

"What?" I asked.

"You keep on thinking about her and you don't accept it." Dad, now stood up from his seat and looked out of his window. Dad's office has the best view. The beautiful city looks even more beautiful from up here. He looked out of his window and his head was shaking. As if, he didn't believe a single word I was saying. As if, he didn't agree to what o said till now. He should agree to it because that is true. I don't care about Joy Miller, anymore.
