Authors note: If you guys are confused, the prologue was from someone else's perspective, and the rest is from another (Spoilers... hah anyone get the reference?). This is why this novel is different and kinda weird... You'll know what I mean once you've read a couple chapters (I haven't published more). Right now I'm working on chapter four, and I think I'll try and write a chapter every two weeks or more, unless anyone wants to read more.. Oh, and you should really check out my friend's novel; Her account is LittleWittleCupcake and she's writing a novel about wolf's and love, if u like that stuff *0* Look her up pls. And pls give mey feedback

Anyway, hope you enjoy this chapter, it's shorter, but yas :3

There was something so odd about that little girl. She looked so tiny and shy, yet she was so much braver than you would expect. It was like she was having a normal conversation, and nothing could bring her down. She didn't seem unpleasant, just full of courage.

The Walker stood staring down at her face, then looked up to the other three girls in the room.

"All of your things will come soon. Fix your beds and once your uniforms arrive you will get ready for supper." He said furiously, then glanced down at Alice and gave her a slight dirty look under his cloak. He then left closing the door with a loud 'thud'. I watched him march down the hallway outside all the rooms and leave through the big doors.

The three girls looked terrified while Alice walked back to her bed and started unfolding her sheets. I sensed an awkward silence between all the girls and saw Mimi and Quinn glance nervously at each other. Alice didn't seem to notice this silence because she started casually humming a song to herself while she tried tucking her white sheets under her mattress. The three girls hesitated, but did the same. Jenny let out an awkward cough while looking down at the floor.

"So..." She began. "How, uhm... how old are you guys?"

Quinn and Mimi looked up. Alice, on the other hand, seemed to be lost in her thoughts and only kept humming silently in her corner.

"Five, I think." Mimi said weakly.

"Six." Quinn squeaked.

"Me too." Jenny said and tried to sound positive in the echoing silence. Quinn nodded awkwardly. Alice stopped humming all the sudden, but was still tucking her sheets in. Her back was turned against the other girls, but I saw that she was now trying to listen.

"How... old are you, Alice?" Jenny said, in almost a whisper. Alice's expression still remained with no life.

"Six." She said quietly. The three girls looked nervous. Once Alice was finished with her sheets (Which weren't perfect considering she hadn't really made a bed before), she threw her covers onto the bed, picked up her small suitcase, set it on her bed and opened it. Her case was full of hand-made wood toys, half a loaf of bread and a couple clothes. The three girls couldn't see what was in her luggage, but when she started unpacking everything they all gasped.

"You... you didn't throw your clothes away?" Jenny asked desperately.

"No..." Alice answered looking up at her.

"Why?"

"Uhm... I didn't want to." Alice said simply while packing her toys into the chest at the end of her bed.

"But... But aren't they going to get mad?" Jenny asked. Alice didn't answer. She continued to unpack her belongings while Jenny, Mimi and Quinn silently started fixing their beds.

After about twenty minutes of the girls fixing their beds and unpacking their bags, several Walkers came into the hallway outside, each one pushing something that looked somewhat like a trolley. On each trolley sat four large baskets containing uniforms, underwear, towels, shoes and anything else you would need. On some of the trolleys were only three or even two baskets because some rooms had only one or two new girls. Another Walker entered the four girl's room, and just like before, they all jumped, except Alice who only looked up.

"Here are all of your things. There is a name tag for each person." It was a female Walker this time. She had a light and soothing voice, but all at the same time, it was still creepy and scary. She walked in and set the trolley in the middle of the room and stood in front of it. She examined her weird and bony looking hand and stood in a bored position, as if waiting for something to happen. Then she looked up at the confused children.

"Well go on then! It's your stuff, isn't it?" She said. Her voice lost the soothing effect and sounded more impatient, but still light. Talking Walkers had a tendency to get impatient very easily. Mimi, Quinn and Jenny immediately ran to get their own basket, afraid that the second Walker would get mad too, but Alice, on the other hand, took her time. She finished packing her last toy from her own briefcase, then looked like she was about to turn around to get her basket from the trolley.

"Little girl-" The hooded Walker started, but looked down at the messy name tag on the last basket. "Sorry, Alice, are you getting your stuff, then?"

Alice turned around and looked at the hooded figure, then looked at the basket.

"I didn't throw my clothes away." She said and picked up the few clothes she had brought, and held them in her hands. The Walker stared down at Alice's clothes.

"Why didn't you toss them? We have a strict rule." The Walker said with her normal voice again.

"I... I don't know." Alice whispered and looked down at the floor. It was the first time her expression had changed, and it now looked glum or even ashamed. It was like seeing a whole new person. You would think the first time you meet someone their face expression would change at times, but not with Alice. It was so weird. She was so mysterious. My whole view of her changed. She looked different now. I had gotten used to her brave and soulless face the past hour or so, and now it changed? It was really weird. I had never seen a kid such as Alice.

The rest of the girls noticed this too and exchanged confused and nervous glances to each other, besides the Walker, who grabbed Alice's clothes out of her hands and put them beside her basket on the trolley.

"You won't be seeing those again." She whispered and picked up the basket and put it down in front of Alice. Alice kept her sad face and dumped all her new things onto her bed.

"Do you have anything more in your bag?" The Walker hissed.

"Only toys." Alice answered.

"Alright." The Walker whispered menacingly. "Alright. Please everyone dress into one of the uniforms. They all look the same. There is a schedule in there too. It says when your classes are, when a Walker comes in every week to assist you, when it is breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything you will need to know. And if there is something unclear, you can just ring that bell on the wall." The Walker said and pointed to something stuck to the wall in the back that resembled something of a fusebox. "There are a couple buttons in there, as well as a clock. If you press the biggest one you can ask for what you want and we might bring it to you. Now, everyone change into your new clothes, it is soon time for dinner. Once another Walker comes in, you will follow it."

The four girls did as told and handed over their old clothes that they were wearing, as well as the large baskets that had contained their new things, to the Walker. She set them upon the trolley, beside Alice's pile of clothes and walked eerily out of the room, the long, black, hooded cloak dragging behind her.

The girls sat quietly on each of their beds. After a long echoing silence, Mimi said;

"Uhm... Do you... Wanna play a game?"
